Who can solve this problem? - VP19 render crashes

Comments

Fwiw - I managed to render 7 videos, this was the 8th and final and it’s totally stopped.

I’ve tried literally everything suggested on this forum and Google and I’ve put in several reports all with my forum username.

There's a tool called MediaInfo, download it, it's free https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo
After downloading, right click on the media in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the View option, select all, copy & paste in a comment here,

@edlerman Hi, can you provide the MediaInfo of the media your using,

'Note that VEGAS Pro 19 "does not officially support Windows 11 yet".' https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-19-and-support-for-windows-11--132810/

Also in your Signature it mentions Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100 CPU, the specifications for that are. Total Cores 2; Total Threads 4;

Vegas recommended requirements

Hey - should I do the media info on the saved project? Or on every bit of media I use inside of it? It’s around 10 files in total.

I was originally editing on windows 10 when this error began. 5 of my 8 crashes trying this have been on windows 10. I updated to 11 to try a Hail Mary to try and fix it.

Would the sub-optimal processor cause the issue where it has rendered fine 7 times but then stops and will not do anything now?

Do I need to add anything to my signature to help? Thanks.

@edlerman Hi, OK, some people have problems with W11 & some don't, i just thought i should mention it 👍

No just the MediaInfo on the orig media you're using, if it's all different types then maybe only post a couple, if it's all from the same camera/source it will have similar info just different length & file size, so only post one, It just gives people trying to help an understanding of how it is at your end, & to compliment that mention the size of your Vegas project ie. 1920x1080. 👍

PS, does your PC have a graphics card (GPU), click on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen - Taskmanager - Performance will tell you

I doubt if your processor (i3) is strong enough.

This is the very main file at the heart of the project. Everything else is somewhat irellevant (i am adding an intro and outro video, as well as a couple of lower thirds, but realistically its just this for the bulk of the project).

I have just found an Intel Core i7-6700 (3.40Ghz) locally which i am planning to purchase now. Hopefully this will help this part of the issue!

@edlerman Hi, to my untrained eye that file looks fine, 59,94fps is a little bit more demanding than 29.97fps, & if you could render videos before then the - Fault Module: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll doesn't mean that that is broken, it's just saying where the fault occurred, so yeah hopefully a new CPU does fix it 👍

edlerman wrote on 5/17/2022, 3:45 PM

Went and bought the new CPU. Works lovely, same issue with rendering. Got to 96% this time:

They're not owned by Sony anymore, its Magix.

I appreciate all the guys trying to help, and i appreciate any further help or ideas they can give. I've put in a support ticket too, of course.

It APPEARS - running in administrator mode is working.

Two successful renders back to back. @Omar123 give it a try doing that.
