why doesn't magix implement changing the color of events individually?

so it means that the possibility of changing the color of the events individually is already possible in other magix software, but they don't bring that to VEGAS because they don't want to? that's right? 🤔

Has anybody asked for this? https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-feature-requests--134374/

The same people don't develop all Magix software. VEGAS is done by VEGAS Creative Software.

This has been an often requested feature and I have it on my list of features that we would want to implement at some point. Sadly, the way the code is constructed right now and how the project data is set up, it is not a trivial matter to make this change in VEGAS without destroying our ability to read projects from older versions. That is the reason we have not implemented it.

It can be done, but for something like this, it is too much work for us to do when we have many other much more significant parts of VEGAS that need to be reworked.
