Your Youtube Subscribers not getting notifications

Google in there wisdom is no longer notifying your subscribers when you post a new video by email.

In the link below, it will explain how subscribers can turn things back ON again. Only time will tell if it works.

I was wondering why I was seeing new content on Youtube, yet never received any email notifications.

Now I have turned them back on. But how many others don't know about this?

Does this only work in Chrome, or can it be set for Firefox somewhere?

@walter-i. I wouldn't mind betting that the YT alerts are now only limited to Chrome users because Chrome and YT are now all part of the Google group of companies, and the benefits are now only available if you are a total Google user.

I'm still not receiving email notifications in either FF or Chrome... bummer.....
