RE: Cuts aren't placed at timeline when switching cameras in Multicam
I tested this with just placing markers on the timeline. Started playback, added a few markers that added at the cursor position. Clicked the middle wheel on the mouse, and then all markers attempted to add at the original cursor location. You can

@frOsty : multicam split view without the multicam track enabled??
Hi frOstyon my multicam thread, you commented :A multicam track isn't needed to display a preview of what is happening on the tracks on the timeline... just enable multicam mode and you get your split screen MC view, the tracks remain the same. When

RE: Edit media in trimmer?
Yes, effex have to added after the multicam edit, or as an effect in the media pool. In your case you might want to correct the problem camera and render to a lossless codec then use that as your edit source. Just wondering how I would use that

RE: VEGAS 20 is Here!
I really would have preferred a modernized multicam workflow without the multicam track and keeping direct access to allt the cam tracks. I really wonder if everybody is happy wih the current implementation… maybe noone does multicam anymore?

RE: Vegas 20 question saving edits in tracks.
I wouldn't use a multicam project for that. You can place one media as events on four tracks and edit without having to "render" it.

RE: Computer Upgrade
This may be a silly question, but can you actually feel the speed of an M.2 PCIe drive vs that of a normal 500MB/s+ SATA SSD? It's not a silly question and it depends. The big jump from HDDs is the near-instant seek times as well as the massive

RE: Very Frustrating Rendering with Upscaling v326
@jay-aero The big difference between b214 and b326 is that previously Vegas AI was strictly Intel Open Vino which seemed to always go to an Intel igpu if one was available. Crashed allot doing that with Style Transfer. Now it uses the gpu selected

RE: VEGAS Pro (20) Preferred Editing Formats
I find ProRes from a NinjaV works pretty well for editing, but it wastes allot of media space in-camera and throughout editing and archiving. It's a bit too unwieldy for the 3 to 5 hour continuous shoots I often do. And coming off of hdmi creates

RE: Editing a multi-camera sequence
@Jonathan-Burnett Maybe the Vegas how-to doesn't make it clear but you 1st have to select the left-side headers of the video tracks to be able to create the combination multicam track. Then you can go into multicam mode to do the cuts while it

RE: Need Assistance with formulating price packages

RE: Import footage from Canon XF605
@Soon_King The only mp4 formats the xf605 shoots are hevc 422 and 420 10-bit as well as avc 420 8-bit. Vp17 can handle them all with or without joining... but when I shoot multicam, I join them to minimize splits on other tracks. Generally, 420

If you really want to get the most out of VEGAS, capture your video in intermediate codecs... The money you invest into new GPUs and CPUs could be invested into recorders that capture in ProRes 422 and some hard drives, and you'd probably get a
