RE: Your preferred 32bit Full Range Pixel Format Workflow / Pipeline ?
I've been working my projects in Limited Range since I started using Vegas long ago but am trying to make the switch to Full Range for a more streamlined workflow that avoids view-transforms like SeMW or Aces. I've found it optimal to edit in 8-bit

RE: is there a way to make vegas remember the fx panel status?
OK, your right. I also find my words somewhat offensive. About multicam editing, my workflow would be 1, take the basic color balance at media level (or camera level) 2, adjust individual color tune at event level that's what I usually do, at

RE: Multicam troublshooting, Audio and clip of one camera went out of sync
I'm terribly sorry, I did not know Movie Studio 17 had multicam editing. In any event, I don't think you need it for two cameras. The only reliable way I know to unbake a multicam track, once created, is with fresh copies of the timeline media. For

Is this possible to do with scripting?
I recently edited a multicam project, finished it, expanded the tracks back out from the single multicam track, and started work on coloring. Once I got one scene where I liked it, I was able to copy/paste my color grading onto all the other events

RE: Your top 3 favorite things about VEGAS
Favorites. What got me hooked into Vegas (it was Vegas 14 Edit Humble Bundle) was the timeline editing. It was FAST! It was fast enough that after two weeks of using it, I purchased VP15 Suite. Upgraded every year except this one so far. For me, it

Bug report on my daily workflow on Vegas Pro 22
Hello guys. First, I need to say that I'm enjoying Vegas Pro 22 and don't see my self coming back to previous versions. My daily workflow is almost about weddings and anniversaries from different cameras and formats. And they are always large

RE: Seeking RECOMMENDATION: Least CPU & GPU-load proxy format
Not sure if hardware decoding can handle 9 AVC streams at a time. I have the same CPU and iGPU as that and use the 720p XDCAM proxies Vegas builds itself. Haven't tried multicams with 9 cameras, though. The image quality is just SO poor using the

RE: Vegas likes the Intel Arc A380
Did a short 4k 60fps 2-camera shoot yesterday and it gave me some meat to sink the Arc into. Set 1 cam for xavc 4:2:2 and the other for hevc 4:2:0. Noticed some curious things. When both the Arc and uhd750 igpu are enabled, Voukoder does not see

@Grazie Thanks for your nesting suggestions... I'm still getting my feet wet. Only nested the graded multicam expansion into a project (with promoted regions ) so I could apply a watermark and put splits and fadeouts at the end of each song-region.

RE: is there a way to make vegas remember the fx panel status?
This is plugin-chain, or FilterPackage as VEGAS calls, it should be located at the 1st one in God's eye when you open the chain. Even so, it's not "That's hundreds and hundreds of unnecessary mouse clicks.".   I am on a multicam project where I

RE: Your Camera / Camcorder suggestions in 2023...
Well, my camera/camcorders are 1080p limited now (except DJI Osmo Pocket), and feel the need to upgrade at least to 4K/60p. Mostly single-operator, long record in 4K 30p, but if slow motion required, 60p is there or 120p also available. Sometimes in

RE: What is the best way to reduce shimmering video noise?
@Musicvid I'm tone deaf so the clips sounded the same to me. But anyway when you slow a clip doesn't Vegas by default maintain the pitch? The elastique plugin is a kind of early pitch resampler; it was ok for speech, but introduced a lot of flanging

    RE: Log 10bit 4:2:2
Does Vegas work well with HEVC/h265? Not especially. Definitely not in 10 bit 4:2:2 which doesn't benefit from GPU decoding either. Being in 32-bit mode in Vegas reduces performance even further. The workaround is to use proxy files (right-click on

RE: Multicam troublshooting, Audio and clip of one camera went out of sync
Is your camera 2 audio out of sync with camera 2 video, or is camera 2 out of sync with camera 1? Very confusing. Your reference to "multicam" is specific to Vegas Pro, not Movie Studio.

    RE: Glueing events
@Bruggeling You can add Media FXs to a locked event but not Video FXs. @Jack S I think the precise terms are (instead of video FXs) "Video Event FX" (just on that particular event) or "Track FX" (effect all events on a given track) and the third, as

RE: Multi camera editing - slow motion preview?
@Peter-Hill, notice the small triangle beneath the Rate slider in the lower-left corner of the VEGAS Pro window. You can move that triangle to set different playback speeds. It works in Multicam editing mode too.
