  The VEGAS Capture app does not do well at capturing all screens. Did you get VEGAS Stream? It will capture your screen for you. Or you can use some other application such as OBS for that purpose.

  Thanks for your responses! Sorry to hear that this is a known problem, but no one is working on it. Hopefully someone can be assigned to fix it soon. Yes, it is for screen capture. (no external devices connected, just the computer and the monitor.)
