RE: Can I tell Vegas to use more than 10% of my CPU power? Ryzen 7 3
Explain what you're doing in the project in detail. I imagine it's waiting on GPU. I assume you're not using the MKV as your source Rendering an edit made from multicam that uses 2 Vegas projects as clips: MediaInfo report of the source footage

RE: Will Vegas ever be able to edit MKVs at the same speed it edits mp4s?
@Howard-Vigorita "OBS is great at live streaming but not so much when it comes to recording."I would also like to know what is your basis for this? Perhaps it's something I don't know about and I should be weary of myself. As far as I have

RE: [Closed] Post Your VEGAS Creations!
@PeterH what speakers did you mix down with? In Vegas, I am guessing you did all the multicam work, yes? Was the final audio used in the rendering? I mixed down on Yamaha studio monitors. Yes, I used three Sony HD cameras and a GoPro for the

RE: Add tracks to multicamera channel?
The problem there, nested projects perform poorly on the timeline, so they won't be getting very good performance while multicam editing. Here's an approach that will work for the time being until a track bussing function can be added to VEGAS

RE: Add tracks to multicamera channel?
When you enable multicamera, any effects are deleted. You need to multicam before other operations. I don't think it does what you want, but you could create a pre-render of your footage with the logos and use that as your source.   Yeah, that's

    RE: Vegas 19: Adjustment tracks
what is not good, that if you 'SOLO' a track the effects of the adjustment track is not applied... thats actually very bad and no fun and kills a big part of the adjustment track. i have very often do do 'SOLO' tracks because i work on multicam

RE: V19 BRAW results - anyone getting 4K playback 24fps even at draft?
Did some BRAW testing without proxies using the Rock Band multicam footage downloaded from the BMD web page. It's a pretty big zip. Didn't do any editing other than doing multicam cuts and seeing if I could play it smoothly. While I was at it I

RE: Premiere vs Vegas - 4K video decode/preview video cross track test
I do see what appears to be a feathering issue in one of the fx I use. But not with transparency the way I usually do it with track composite envelopes. I use composite envelopes both for watermarking entire videos with a logo and to overlay one

RE: Premiere vs Vegas - 4K video decode/preview video cross track test
@LukasDr I sometimes use transparency like you did when shooting 4k with a single camera and want to get a multicam-like effect by duplicating the camera track and zooming it differently using pip fx. The resolution loss of the blowup looks fine as

    RE: effects multicamera edit
Also do it as suggested above. I think I'd do it that way no matter what because looking at multiple cameras simultaneously in multi-cam edit is a pretty big load that would be even greater with video effects on each camera. I expand the multicam

    RE: effects multicamera edit
I also usually do my multicam cut before applying any effects... but I agree that the entire concept of combining tracks into one multicam track is horribly inefficient, it should just leave the tracks expanded and apply the edits to the timeline

    RE: effects multicamera edit
Because once you enter the multicam mode your former tracks will be canceled and a new track will be build and track fx can't get copied. You need to adopt your workflow.

RE: Please help with advice about best Vegas computer and video format
@thomas-foley That's good advice to do your fx after your multicam cuts... and after selecting the option to drop muted frames when expanding the multicam track. Because if you used 7 cameras , you'll be applying that slow fx to only 1/7 of the

    RE: EDL nightmare
I recently tried to use an EDL in Pro Version 16 and had the same problem. If this is the only EDL you have, you could easily do this manually by reading the EDL and matching it by hand. But if you have a bunch, I don't have a solution for you.
