RE: VEGAS Pro 15 Update 8 (build 416)
That said, I see you added BM mini-monitor support and it isn't even in 16 yet... PLZ add it soon! Update 2 of VP 16 should have this support in it. For some reason it was missed in the release notes. It only shows one decklink device in my

RE: Magix - Sampleitude Pro X3 Suite - any good?
I purchased a Second V X3 to get the X4 Version for Free.. I love working with Samplitude Pro X3 SUITE, hopefully X4 will Improve the already excellent performance. Over all THE most comprehensive DAW in the known Universe I'm afraid..I had to

RE: All Videos corrupting on import? (Glitching/Pixelated)
Blackmagic Duplicator appears to be a serious device. Did you receive the file on an SD card? Is it still on the SD card?

RE: All Videos corrupting on import? (Glitching/Pixelated)
It was recorded on a blackmagic duplicator 4k box.Which records your input straight to the SD card/hdd.

RE: Can't add video to vegas - file corrupted
Thanks, Nick! I have since tried a re-wrap and that did, indeed, work. The reason I was trying to copy it to an MP4 file was in the hope Vegas would play it faster. But then I watched some YouTube tutorials and found out I could trim off the

RE: HDR export
So far the results have turned out better without the 1k nits option enabled, but I do see your point. Stewart, also make sure you have a display adapter that Vegas can use to display 10 bit video. Your run of the mill GeForce or Radeon cards cannot

RE: Difference between preview and rendered image.
There must be an entire encyclopedia worth of confused (and confusing) posts about this issue (non-issue really) that you can look up, but it is "simply" this: The Vegas preview SHOULD look less contrasty than your final render when played back on

RE: Video Pro X10
Will stick with VP & move from VP14 to VP16. Edit for £109 is not unreasonable & will accept GH5S 4K media. Thanks for prompt advice. Geoff VP16 installed easily and picked up a VP14 project (now saved as '16'). Blackmagic 4K card

RE: Pro 15 won't play YUY2 files, but plays UYVY
When you drop your pcm 32/48 file in the Timeline, only the video track appears correct? I had a problem when I captured from my BlackMagic Intensity Shuttle, which only captures at 24b/48k. Only the video track would appear. I had to demux the

RE: Split-Screen View
But why OBS? For my tutorials, I just hook up my Blackmagic Video Assist 4k to the HDMI output of my video card and can do the same without having OBS bring my system to its knees (yes, it takes up so many resources nothing else can work; I

RE: [Closed] Known Issues in the Latest Version of VEGAS Pro
Removed from OP (fixed in VEGAS Pro 16 update 2 (build 307)): [VP14+] NeatVideo frame thumbnails do not appear if it is inserted as a Media FX or Event FX before Pan/Crop. [VP15+] Audio in file recorded by Quicktime on Macbook Air 6.2 is

RE: Logarist Color Correction for Vegas Pro
That's right. Logarist is based on having a profile of the camera's color space, but Blackmagic's are all secret. It's possible to reverse engineer some of that stuff, and I've tried, but never got satisfactory results from the Blackmagic camera

RE: Logarist Color Correction for Vegas Pro
Because I shot on a Blackmagic there's no way to use Logarist as an aid to Color Correct my project, is that correct? I wish there was a way to build a color profile, maybe track down the Engineer, but they have an incentive to not reveal that info

RE: Bundled plug-ins locked to Vegas, or can they be used in Premiere Pro?
in Resolve, they won't even run. Resolve is very picky which plug-in it will run. It ignores every single one of my OFX plug-ins, for example. It knows they exist because it lists them in its own internal list, but they do not appear in the user

RE: Logarist Color Correction for Vegas Pro
Blackmagic doesn't publish specifications for their log color spaces. If they had, I already would have supported them. In my opinion, shooting raw is the only real way to use a Blackmagic camera, and practically speaking that means using Resolve.

RE: VEGAS Pro 16 Update 1 (build 261) - General Discussion
Ya, so like I said - no public links into the bug tracking software. Adobe / Blackmagic doesn't do this either. Nick Hope has kept a public bug list on this forum that seems accurate. This is probably something a Magix employee should be tasked with

RE: VEGAS Pro 16 Update 1 (build 261) - General Discussion
@Fiola Still not making any sense. Where are these supposed ADOBE and Blackmagic links to their "TRELLO/bug tracking software/issue tracker available to see for us" as you called it? You said "it's absolutely mind bending for me" in criticism of

RE: VEGAS Pro 16 Update 1 (build 261) - General Discussion
You write WAYYYY too much. The simple answer to my simple question is NO. I refuse to read the rest. The simple answer to your question is YES - there are issue trackers and roadmaps - by ADOBE and Blackmagic at least! :) Edit: And your comment

RE: VEGAS Pro 16 Update 1 (build 261) - General Discussion
@Fiola Do the other NLE companies post a link to their internal "bug tracking software?" Can you give a few examples from the major competitors? Well, please excuse my point of view, but I am not sure why do you think there isn't such thing? Maybe

RE: Is Vegas 16 as terrible as Vegas 15 or did they make it stable?
1) Resolve's free upgrade is a marketing enticement that will one day end. It HAS to. And even with that enticement its NLE market share is very limited. That should tell you something. 2) The BM Resolve forum is FULL of all sorts of bug complaints

RE: Newbie question about fps conversion
I prefer to keep it simple rather than using additional software. … then 3POINT's approach is probably the one to go with. But also consider Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve - which is free - which does include Optical Flow as part of its

RE: 32-bit Black Screen
I have a video project that I’m working on and it was using the 8-bit pixel format because that’s the default. As soon as I change the pixel format to 32-bit, the preview window goes black. It’s not like VP 16 stopped working because when I change
