  if you want a true Luminance adjustment in Color Grading, use the "Hue vs. Luminance" curve, and create a curve with a single point. Moving that point vertically will revise the Luminance values of all Hues in the image.

  You can add two LUTs via the CGP at once. (input and output). You could also apply the two correction ones to the media as CGP at the media level and then a look LUT via CGP at the track level.Or use third-party software to merge the gamma and gamut

  Question: 8 vs 10-bit HEVC Renders?
  Working within an 8-bit project (ie, 8-bit FR or legacy), with 10-bit footage on the timeline, does it make any difference if the render is set to 8 or 10-bit color depth? I would think no...but who knows?

  Since you start with H.265 10bit 420 (or is it 422?), you should try to maintain the color subsampling. So Prores 420 (or Prores 422 if you start from 422) can be nice.

  Broadcast Safe - V22 vs V17
  Here's a screen shot of a clip rendered in MXF format in V22 with the "Broadcast Color" filter applied to the master bus in order to bring the levels to broadcast safe. That clip was rendered in V22 and it looks fine on the scopes before rendering.
