RE: where can i find pro-level editing tutorial
Not sure what AE features you are after, perhaps let us know. You can distinguish two aspects of video editing, the technical and aesthetic. Aesthetic, Walter Murch "In the Blink of an Eye" remains pretty standard. Technical, there are plenty of AE

RE: where can i find pro-level editing tutorial
Agreed. I tried Premier trial nearly 10 years ago and found it so clunky and user unfriendly that I gave it a big miss - and my NLE at the time was the consumer level Ulead VideoStudio. Eventually, Vegas Pro was much better for me. I've not tried

RE: Vegas 15 - XML bug. Davinci media offlines
Nope! It's not alright. I was talking with blackmagic support why clips with 50fps and 25fps are like media offline when DaVinci is supporting mixed framerates. So the thing is - that Sony Vegas have something wrong with XML export because the same

RE: A ringing endorsement of VP15
Incidentally what system does Blackmagic use with Resolve? Whatever it is in their Studio 14 version, it doesn't seem to have worked.

RE: A ringing endorsement of VP15
A permanent connection is absolut NOGO for me. Sporadic/periodic connection is NOGO for me. My limit is reverification with updates and I find even that a nuisance. What evidence is there that such verification stops piracy, anyway? Incidentally

RE: OT: Blackmagic Video Assist Compatibility
Without first hand experience with the device in question... many, if not all of those formats you mention are supported by Vegas. Of course, I suppose BlackMagic could muck them up, but my guess is that at least some of those formats would work.

RE: 349$ for an upgrade from 14suite to 15suite?
I just stopped in to see what Vegas 15 brought to the table and determine if I made the right decision to migrate to Resolve. In my opinion nothing worth the price increase has been added. I've grown very comfortable here in BlackMagic land and plan

RE: $200 for an upgrade... Conclusions
All I can say is, I am extremely disappointed with the V15 offering. 249.00 seems an aweful lot for a new color scheme and 2-3 new plugins! Thinking long and hard if it is worth it!! whatever happened to the loyalty launch

    RE: Obs
I would try XSplit if you are trying to edit your broadcast material later. Then under encode settings make sure to check constant frame rate.   If you are trying to post 1080p@30 or 60P videos here are some tips with OBS. For 60P capture, your

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 15 release date
Not enough detail released to make an assessment. If it is ONLY quicksync, then that would be a little disappointing, but lets' wait and see - not long now. Judging by the previous release, do not expect too much! Keep it a secret until the last

Black magic Decklink model for Vegas 14, Any MOTU HDX-SDI support?
Can anyone confirm which model Blackmagic Decklink is supported in Vegas 14. Second question, I have a MOTU HDX-SDI which I believe only works with Avid, Adobe and Apple. I figured I'd check if for some reason this would work with Vegas 14 now or in

    RE: AMD Firepro GPU's ok?
IMO, I think being optimized for OpenCL has been a weakness for Vegas... All those nVidia GPU's out there and Vegas really can't utilize them... Adobe, Avid and Blackmagic have seen the light and made their apps work with both sides of the GPU line.

    RE: PC refresh question
I don't need raid controllers, my system drive is faster than any SATA striped raid configuration can get and I clone my external drives often so the redundancy aspect of raid setups isn't needed either. I have my blackmagic decklink 4K card and

RE: Some thoughts on VPro after about a year of use....
Vegas 14 suite has turned out to be fantastic for the most part. Honestly I think the majority of the negativity is from people who see how fast and intuitive Vegas' UI is, and realize that if it just managed to get some modern features in (GH5 10

RE: Vegas 14 problems with High DPI aliasing and blurriness
The problem is with Vegas, not anyone's setup. But it's not important for me anymore, because I purchased DaVinci Resolve Studio for $300, and it's worked better than Vegas and Catalyst in many ways. They also develop quickly, and release major

RE: [Closed] Why Buy Vegas if Resolve is Free?
It looks like Blackmagic is trying to disrupt the NLE business. If I were to upgrade to Vegas 14 (which I still haven't done), it would cost me only $50 LESS than an outright purchase of the studio version of Resolve 14. There were two things have
