  RogerS - I looked at the track level and there are no video FX that I can see. The raw video footage previews correctly at full color when I drag a new clip into the timeline. Adis-a - I did raise the fader. Thank you for any input here.

  You can also try the RL Color Wheels, but I generally avoid them, because the brickwall cutoff points don't blend well with the rest of the image. The Highlight/Shadow preset I suggested will taper the levels rather than show sharp endpoints. I

  @Kimberly-Durecki You can also achieve good results with VEGAS' native Color Corrector (Secondary). Just be careful when setting the parameters not to select unwanted elements in the scene.
