RE: Vegas Pro 22 - video sputtering and freezes
Wolfgang, Thanks for your help. I have not gotten to color grading. Just trying to play the various clips in the project. Is it possible that Vegas 22 is using a different codec to play the files? Not sure how to find the correct one.

RE: [Solved] Colours oversaturated after rendering (Studio RGB to Computer RGB)?
When using VEGAS Levels 'Studio RGB to Computer RGB' in Vegas Pro 17 or earlier (usually at the Project FX level), the Levels FX needs to be disabled before rendering. Fortunately, Vegas 18 and 19 no longer need to use VEGAS Levels - rendered colors

RE: [Closed] VEGAS Pro 22 Build 93
@Dexcon thanks. I've done that. It seems with every new update I'm increasingly living in 'Legacy' land. I see no logic reason for changing the colors of the folders other than an aesthetic decision to give Vegas a 2-tone interface

RE: A circular counter. Maybe someone needs it.
You would need to upload your ProRes file to Drive or Dropbox, and supply the link here. Maybe someone will ask for other colors or a different kind. Then I'll post it for the customer.

RE: [Closed] Questions about Vegas Pro Color Range
Below is the attached photo. It is a capture of Vegas 18. Unlike what @mark-y mentioned above, it is recognized as the original without touching it. The color range is also recognized as full. Another one is Vegas 22. It is recognized as limited,

RE: How do I enable 4:2:2 10 Bit Rendering
I didn't notice the MediaInfo so in that case it's a complete waste of space to inflate it to 422. That is why the render templates are for 420 only. Doing log conversions or extensive color manipulations in 32 bit mode with 10 bit footage makes

RE: Lag - preview
Personally I'd shoot with different settings. Unless you have an HDR computer monitor and knowledge of color grading I would start with standard dynamic range. Change the codec to AVC (h264), color space REC 709 and shoot at 30fps for normal video.

RE: The Color Grading window is lagging
the panel opens for a long time, when I click to open it, it's as if the window is minimized for a second and then opened immediately. all sliders work with a delay, color circles too. generally it's hard to work because everything works with a delay

Has vegas implemented, or considering implementing, the ability for us to use any color checking products? Like datacolor spyder checkr? This would help us with keeping a proper color workflow. I know you can in all the other major players. Or does

RE: Vegas color grading vs other tools
@lan-mLMC Graide Color Curves is something entirely different. @Mindmatter Colorfast 2 then would be the best option for you. It is an excellent alternative that ticks all the boxes for what you are looking for.

RE: How do I enable 4:2:2 10 Bit Rendering
That is a misconception as you can't actually see the difference between them. The SDR color spectrum (gamut) is normally limited to Rec709 as well. The point of 10-bit 422 is for further editing- you can benefit from the precision when you convert

I've been editing 4K video using a Dell color-calibrated 32" 4K monitor for nearly 5 years and much prefer it to the earlier days of editing 4K on an HD monitor. First of all, I'm color grading, adding FX, etc while viewing the video in original 4K
