    RE: 10-Bit Projects in VP?
hmmmm... looks like a serious hardware upgrade just stepped a few steps up the whishlist, as a Sony fs7 is due soon for 10 bit 4.2.2 footage. It‘s mainly things like banding that bug me most in 8 bit.

OK, didn't realize you had changed tests... New result (Red Car Test): Internet HD 1080p 29.97 fps - 2:11 = 131s (No NVENC, VCE) That's with an 8 yr old PC! I would like to upgrade my hardware, but these results aren't very convincing. I am mostly

RE: [Closed] [Release] VEGAS Pro 16 – Powerful video production & audio editing
Unfortunately, my problems still persists ... stuttering of the preview window and random crashes. This is getting ridiculous... :( I was so hyped about this release. We have 6 different machines in our studio, on every machine we have same issues

RE: Vegas 15 keeps asking for activation EVERY TIME
A long, long time ago I was Windows 10 beta tester. When Microsoft offered the upgrade for free, I built Windows 10 systems for all three of the computers that I had at the time. I saved a system image of Windows 10 and put the Windows 7 Pro system

RE: Extremely Slow 4K Video Rendering Time
Most of the rendering speed gain would come from NVENC or INTEL QSV. It is unlikely that CPU or CUDA would be faster with a current version of Vegas. Even if you upgrade some hardware, don't expect miracles. Rendering 4K videos must be so low? At

    RE: Can't Open MP4 Files In v16?
Vegas Pro 15/16 doesn't need Quicktime if not a special codec is used inside. I haven't heard of a H.264 Quicktime version which would need Quicktime or Quicktime Pro (while same is true for Quicktime MPEG-2). Could you offer a download link to a

    RE: Re-Disappointed
Well VP16 is a real let down, its just is not a pro choice for editing anymore,15 was buggy as hell and looks like its never going to have its issues fixed the H264 problems is laughable, this is should not be issue and its still not fixed, yet again

The Old Question about updating hardware
I have always built my own computers, but I now want to upgrade and frankly am getting tired of dealing with all of the variables of CPU, Memory types, etc. If I buy an off the shelf I7 computer, what are the pitfalls I need to watch out for? Thanks

Hardware: When I bother to buy a Military class Mobo it is because I expect them to be the most stable available - certified to work reliably in rough environments. When I buy the K version of Intels processors I expect them to be most reliable

Problem With Photo Slideshow Created With Vegas 15
First off, I am entirely self-taught starting from Vegas Pro 9 and while I know many aspects in some depth, some others are rudimentary for me so apologies if I waste your time.  Ordinarily I use Vegas Pro 13 build 453 and thats been fine. Recently

RE: Speed Up Rendering times in Vegas (1440p @60fps) Resolved
So the OP is asking for is better, faster render settings. So it would be silly for the OP to render other than source resolution and frame rate, isn't that what you want to say? What he wants to say is that the source of the footage is

RE: VEGAS Pro 15 Update 6 (build 384) - General Discussion
Personally, in general I'd rather receive frequent incremental small updates, rather than sparse big ones. That is preference. What is a fact, is that the last previous upgrades finally achieved two crucial tasks. First, they finally focused VEGAS

Interesting. Thanks for posting. We need more of this kind of info to better understand hardware setups for the new Vegas engine. I would like a GPU upgrade, but with crypto mining market interference and not knowing what Vegas prefers, I have been

My recent desktop upgrade is an i8700k Oc'd easily to 5Ghz, an Asus Z370-H mobo, 32GB Corsair LPX Ram and AMD R9 380 4GB Card. Works flawlessly - still laggy when using Neat Video but that's a given no matter what as far as I can tell. Without using

To the people above. I stand by what I stated. I see no reason not to simply round trip to Resolve for color grading. It scales amazingly with my hardware, and performs well. If you care that much about color that you will debate about it, then

Honestly, the performance of this software is a much bigger deal than HDR. That can wait another year. But VEGAS Pro simply isn't even on the same level of Video Pro X, much less Premiere Pro CC or Resolve (on high end systems) when it comes to

Vegas Pro 15: Hardware recommendations for high end PC.
