RE: Intel i9 9900K processor review using Vegas Pro
I just loaded a 5 minute clip to render in Magix AVC at 1080P 29.97 Thee are only cross fade transitions and one swish pan. One line No titles or extreme FX. Why should this take 1 hour and twenty minutes to render? Vegas 16 build 307 using 11

RE: Video Clip Keeps Flickering Black on Sony Vegas Pro
Hi, is upgrading the hardware the (almost) only suggestion? I've seen similar flickering (in the timeline preview but also in the rendered file) that's getting darker and darker because of crushed blacks and an increasing contrast through the use of

RE: Vegas 16 Freezing and malfunctioning while rendering with GPU
Hello, I have just upgraded to Vegas 16 and the only reason I did that was because there were promisses of working and fuctional GPU accelerated rendering. Anytime i try to render with Nvidia NVENC method - the render process ends up freezing and

RE: Vegas Pro 16 very slow
Vegas Pro 16 (and 15) are VERY slow to load and use! I have used Vegas Pro 14 and it works well. Loading a project takes 2 minutes in 14 but 20 minutes in 15 & 16! Cannot use 15 or 16, very disappointing (they were supposed to be fast!), back to

RE: Vegas Pro 16 and Windows 10
My interest in being a full time system administrator has waned so I am still running Windows 7 Pro except for my wifes new laptop. I expect my hardware upgrade in 2021 will force me to install Windows 10 version 385.

RE: Slow preview/playback
Guessing it is a Vegas inefficiency in that case. Bummer. I know how to make footage play black cleanly by downgrading previews and pre-rendering and everything else I have set up is in line with that page, however with my system playing back RED in

RE: Windows 10 Anniversary ed'n broke my Media Manager
For the forgotten millions still running outdated Windows so they can run Media Manager (What? Only me??) I have been able to get Media Manager running in VirtualBox using these versions: Host OS: Windows 10 Pro version 1511 VirtualBox 5.2.20

RE: Is there a multi computer render script
Vegas once supported “network rendering”, but it has long since proved more trouble than it was worth. You need to start thinking about a hardware upgrade some time in the next few years. I do a forklift upgrade every four years whether I need to or

RE: Hardware Upgrade
Well, here's another one who doesn't give any sort of clue as to what he/she currently owns/uses, no idea of what type of media he/she uses, no idea as to what the rendered output for their media/video is for, so... ...here's a link within this

Hardware Upgrade
What computer components and specs would reduce rendering times the most?I've been thinking of building a new PC or upgrading my current one for this and other reasons. My current PC is 7 years old and it takes double the the length of the video to

RE: Is Vegas 16 as terrible as Vegas 15 or did they make it stable?
"There's not the same problems related to GPU's, be that GPU not working, or GPU causing crashes" Try using a 4GB GPU to do anything with resolve... its performance will suck, and if you try to do noise reduction, it just stops working entirely.

RE: Is Vegas 16 as terrible as Vegas 15 or did they make it stable?
1) Resolve's free upgrade is a marketing enticement that will one day end. It HAS to. And even with that enticement its NLE market share is very limited. That should tell you something. 2) The BM Resolve forum is FULL of all sorts of bug complaints

RE: Is Vegas 16 as terrible as Vegas 15 or did they make it stable?
I think everyone should think about what we would be going through if Vegas was no longer available. Just imagine if Magix had not bought Vegas, or had no interest in developing it further. Where would that leave us? Imagine what it would cost us

RE: What GPU for VP16
So do you think if version 16 would give me any improvement in stability of rendering and working with my plugins? Possibly, but there's also a strong chance it won't. You need to do the month's free trial, but it would be much better if you could

RE: Optimal laptop for Vegas Pro?
Is it worth to spend money for high end graphics card too? no, in fact an integrated graphics would work the same. in your case would try first upgrading the hd to an 1tb ssd and kill background process @supergafudo And do you have proof? well

RE: VEGAS Pro 16 Update 1 (build 261) - General Discussion
When will Vegas feature a proper VST 3.0 64 bit support? I can't use my Waves and Isotope plugins without stuttering! It is a big issue that is going on since the first 64-bit Vegas version. And how come that when I try to render a project (even

RE: How Can I Get Up To Speed? Just Upgraded From Vegas Pro 13 to 15
Also, if you go into the Help section of Vegas 15 on the top menu, there is a What's New Description too. I like that one because it's offline and built-in. And since you jumped right over 14, here's the What's new from 14. 14 was actually a huge

RE: 10-Bit Projects in VP?
hmmmm... looks like a serious hardware upgrade just stepped a few steps up the whishlist, as a Sony fs7 is due soon for 10 bit 4.2.2 footage. It‘s mainly things like banding that bug me most in 8 bit.

OK, didn't realize you had changed tests... New result (Red Car Test): Internet HD 1080p 29.97 fps - 2:11 = 131s (No NVENC, VCE) That's with an 8 yr old PC! I would like to upgrade my hardware, but these results aren't very convincing. I am mostly

RE: [Closed] [Release] VEGAS Pro 16 – Powerful video production & audio editing
Unfortunately, my problems still persists ... stuttering of the preview window and random crashes. This is getting ridiculous... :( I was so hyped about this release. We have 6 different machines in our studio, on every machine we have same issues

RE: Vegas 15 keeps asking for activation EVERY TIME
A long, long time ago I was Windows 10 beta tester. When Microsoft offered the upgrade for free, I built Windows 10 systems for all three of the computers that I had at the time. I saved a system image of Windows 10 and put the Windows 7 Pro system

RE: Extremely Slow 4K Video Rendering Time
Most of the rendering speed gain would come from NVENC or INTEL QSV. It is unlikely that CPU or CUDA would be faster with a current version of Vegas. Even if you upgrade some hardware, don't expect miracles. Rendering 4K videos must be so low? At
