    RE: Help with masking-cropping videos
Apparently the free version of Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve has some sort of motion tracking. Anyone using it? Is that right?

    RE: Adding ANOTHER output preview?
You are right.  But you could drag your preview window to the second monitor and make it almost full screen. Then you have blackmagic to TV and "almost" full screen preview window on second monitor and timeline, etc on first monitor.

    RE: Help with masking-cropping videos
You need a plugin that can do rotoscoping. Something by Hitfilm or Boris would plug into Vegas, but I'm not sure exactly which of their products to recommend. External programs would include Adobe AfterEffects. Blackmagic Fusion would do what you

RE: Blackmagic Decklink Studio 4K in Preview list, but no image
Card is Blackmagic (PCI Express) Intensity Pro 4K using driver 10.5.0.0.Only problem experienced was the sound from this card had to be routed into my onboard sound card.Normally edit via GV Edius but just checked and it is still OK with VP13 (build

    RE: Adding ANOTHER output preview?
HDMI Splitter is the easiest solution for: "another "output preview" to that 3rd monitor". While use of devices such Blackmagic or Aja give more options and a better image.

    RE: Adding ANOTHER output preview?
Blackmagic intensity  or decklink card would be the way to go for the TV.  Then I think you would just drag the preview window on to monitor #2.  Maybe there is another way?

Blackmagic Decklink Studio 4K in Preview list, but no image
Hello, I used the Blackmagic Decklink Studio 4K card with Ver 13 for viewing on an external monitor, but although the card is seen and selectable in ver 14, no image appears. Any ideas?

RE: Magix tech support just as HORRIBLE as Sony
You'd thing Magix would be trying to get to proffesional community interested in their product the way Adobe Premeire, Blackmagic Resolve and FCPx do. Instead they market to the semi-pro. It would only take one decent major upgrade and better

    Can't capture 30fps or 60fps, settings only go to 29.97fps or 59.94fps
We used to capture video from a handheld video camcorder set at 1080i60. It goes through our BlackMagic DeckLink Studio 4K into Vegas Pro 13. That works perfectly fine. We're using Win 10 64bit w/AU. But we recently upgraded to a PTZOptics 20x

    RE: PCM & Vegas 13
I've had this same exact problem multiples of times from both BlackMagic recorders (multiple products), and certain Canon cameras recording to .mts files. All were 24bit LPCM audio. In all cases, extracting the audio to its own .wav file allowed

RE: What's up with T/L playback speed?!!
That's interesting!  I like Blackmagic, but I think it is fair to say they take an "aggressive" approach to product development and release.   I have an (now unused) old intensity shuttle (USB 3 version) that was definitely responsible for BSOD

RE: Prores Vegas 13 project has problems in 14
Thanks, Nick.  That worked well.  I'm reading ProRes files created by a BlackMagic HyperDeck Shuttle 2 that creates 16 channels of audio.  Video was working fine but I was only getting one (blank) track of audio.  Your workaround took care of it.

What exactly is an I/O board and how it works?
Somewhere I read that if you are serious about editing videos you must have an I/O for capture and playback, how does that compare to a dedicated graphics card? eg this board. I am considering a lower price Firepro w4100 (just for the fun of having

RE: After advice on which version I need!
Looking at the actual video the OP posted: that was all manual positioning of the image: No automated tracking. This manual positioning (+ keyframing) is possible in Movie Studio. But, I have to say, would be much better to utilise a point tracker,

    Cinema Camera Judder
I seem to be having judder issues with vegas and BMCC footage. The raw footage out of the camera looks fine, but is a stuttering mess when I render it out of vegas, even in scenes where the camera is not panning. I have the project set to 24p, as is

RE: [Closed] Upgrade offer Extended to Nov 18, 2016
Well, if I read the points of Vidmus, 70% of the features are not needed. Ok, then there is no need to purchase the new version for Vidmus. If there is no need to purchase the new version, the price does not matter. The price complains are pointless
