    RE: 4K multicam no problem!!
OK here we go!! The footage is native GH5 10 bit 4K 400mbps. My system can handle 2 tracks in multicam editing with 32 bit project settings and FXs applied. Play back TL performance is good, best/full frame rate. But when I start to add 2 more

RE: VEGAS Pro 15 Update 5 (build 361) - General Discussion
I tried to edit a multicam performance with the newest Vegas 15 but it kept crashing during the multicam editing. I did it in Vegas 14 and it didn't crash at all. I had two X AVC L and an X AVC S video file. The X AVC L from Sony PXW-X70, Sony

RE: GPU Test (3 4 K files, 20 seconds, each file 4 different GPU FX effect
@D7K, I am curious about your GPU timeline performance in multicam edit mode as I use a similar GPU (RX580). Suppose you stack, say, 4 tracks of the 4K 100mb UHD from your Panny GX8 and create a multicam track, what sort of preview playback

RE: VEGAS Pro 15 Update 5 (build 361) - General Discussion
It looks like VEGAS Pro 15 (b361) does not like to have both VCE and QSV enabled simultaneously, at least, on my PC. I disabled iGPU (HD530) on the Intel i7 6700K in BIOS, and VEGAS Pro 15 (b361) finally managed to get through the VCE render. Speed

RE: Are MOV files ok to use in Vegas 15 now?
Cliff. Check out the new thread I post about .MOV files. You can see it for yourself. You are wasting to much times for doing conversion. Back in the day, many people using an intermediate because back then computer/graphic card are not as powerful

RE: Is Vegas to Handbrake still necessary for v15?
Probably I'm missing something important. Probably. Every year we record our figure skating live performance of the Nutcracker on Ice. Each act is between 30-50min with several scenes. Each act is a multicam, 3-4 cam edit and some parents buy the

    RE: Multicam Crashing
So, I checked my project settings, and noticed the project had been set to the settings of the first clip I used, the 720p60 clip. I changed the project settings to 1080p24, left everything else alone. That seems to have fixed the problem. So, if

    Multicam Crashing
I've been trying for days to get a project finished and can't seem to get more than a few minutes of editing in before Vegas crashes. I have 4 cameras in this shoot. Here is the media info for each camera: Cam1: General  Name: 00070.MTS  Folder:

“I just lost 4 hours of progress to a multicam editing crash, auto save saved 5 mins after I started the project” Well Fr0sty if you’re using Vegas for 20 years you know a hell of a lot more about it than I do! I’m a relative newcomer, started with

RE: Applying "MEDIA FX" in masse
It seems to me that you could have different video tracks on the timeline for events from your different cameras, and set the desired FX for each camera at track level. For example, video track 1 would be for video from camera A with FX set for that

RE: Extrenal monitor preview freezes entire computer
Well, I have it worse, the secondary monitor turns black, coursor doesn't move, keys don't do anything, Esc (obviously) has no effect, even ctrl+alt+delete cannot do the trick, only hard reboot. And then the situation is all over again. So I'm left

RE: Media management & storyboarding / rough cut editing in Vegas Pro
it also has a cool auto-sync feature which makes lining up multicam shoots a lot easier. it doesn't nail it every time, but it at least gets you really close.

A mesma coisa acontece aqui. Isso também ocorre em Vegas 12, 13 e 14. Quando isso acontecer e o sistema multicam não responder, pressione Alt + D + D, que retornará ao normal.

RE: Release VEGAS Pro 365 - General Discussion
I don’t have any rendering issues with Vegas, in fact, Vegas renders faster on my machine than Resolve 14. Especially MPEG2 for DVD or BD renders very fast in Vegas. I also recently tweaked my VP14 and it now works as well as Resolve. However, color

I know this is an old thread, but I've been completely unable to get the fx to stick if I apply them and then create a multicam track. Marcel, can you post (assuming you see this) the steps that work for you? I've got MS 13-15 so I should be able

RE: Effects on tracks with Multicamera editing
If you want to apply FX before creating the multicam you need to apply them at the media level in the media pool.
