  It was. I used VP 12 to edit DJI and GoPro files and remember being annoyed that the other shooters did them in 4K as I had to proxy everything and it took hours. I stayed with 12 until VP 15, so it wasn't so long ago for me.

  I have Sony Vegas Pro 12 running on a Windows 7 Pro PC. Looks like my Windows does not support the HEVC codex because when I try to import a 4K MP4 video from my GoPro, Sony Vegas won't display it. Is there a solution to my problem?
