RE: Any way to remove duplicate frames?
@twinbee As i understand it Twixter is a good one, when i can afford it i'm thinking of buying, How long is your clip? How does Twixter compare to Vegas' Slow Motion feature? A minute long would be cool - just want to get a feel for how smooth it

Problem when selecting keyframes
I'm editing track motion keyframes and if I am zoomed in past a certain amount on the timeline, selecting a keyframe will cause the very first keyframe to be selected instead, though I haven't been able to replicate this 100% consistently. Check out

RE: Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
Just to help clarify since I'm not sure I've put this as clearly as I could... if I have the following layout: Parent Track A (applying Parent Motion to the combined results of Track 1 and Track 2)—Child Track 1——Various Media (5000x5000)—Child

RE: Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
Although it appears the topic has shifted, I'm sure you know that Track Motion works at Project resolution (although that can be worked around), and that Pan/Crop works at Media resolution, although it's not always as capable for some things.

RE: Corrupt (not closed container mp4) mp4 - how to fix
I have only used it a couple of times last year, and in my case it just worked, so not sure how you go about attempting to fix a problem result. Are all the video frames actually there, it's just playing in slow motion, are the frames duplicated? If

RE: Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
What @daniel-t explain above correct, because anything that has been put into Track, will be a reference to Track motion's size. Just remembering there is a 3D Source Alpha... hmm, I wonder if this can be helpful... Need to experiment.

RE: Why is it so hard to move images in veags.
Use the right tool for the right job: Pan/Crop - designed for cropping an image and panning across the image Track Motion - designed to resize an image smaller and move it to different position on the screen Then there's now the PIP effect you could

Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
Okay, let me explain. I have a sequence made up of many (many!) high resolution still assets composted with motion. Those are all children of a parent track which then, in turn, applies various zoom and motion effects. The issue is, the child tracks

RE: Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
Your last paragraph is your solution. Simply start your project at the original high resolution media properties. There is no such thing as nondestructive upscaling. Granted, but if the child tracks could be internally processed at 4K (or the asset

RE: VEGAS 20 is Here!
One cool thing about File Drop, collaborators do not have to be on Windows, or even on a computer... any computer, laptop, tablet, or phone can access it and upload media to it regardless of OS. So, if you hire a team of camera operators to cover

RE: Trying to use a high resolution image/text as an image in Vegas 14
How you do the scrolling? If you are using track level motion, it is going to be blurry. But if you are using Event Pan & Crop, it should be sharp. (Don't forget to do right click on the box outline in the event pan & crop to match to output

RE: Can a track be rendered internally at a different resolution?
I'm not sure that 3D Camera Mode / 3D Source Alpha is doing anything different here. I just tried a simple one parent / one child track test with a high resolution still at a lower project resolution (so it's more obvious to see if it's working),

RE: Why is it so hard to move images in veags.
... but it makes it move which I just want the image to stay in place. In either or both pan/crop and track motion, you wouldn't happen to have the 'sync cursor' activated by any chance? Having the sync cursor activated means that any framing

RE: Small icons import and fill the screen. How do I stop this?
I just use track motion, I put in my logos pixel size and it reverts it back to what it should be. However, reading the manual under "crop/pan", it says exactly what I was saying, If you select "no" it should keep it's original size. It doesn't. I

RE: Why video software can't be just easy, UX intuitive, like PowerPoint?
@Milosz-Nasadowski 😂 👍 I'm not defending Vegas because it is old software that needs a serious rewrite, but you can do most things with it, it just that isn't already done for you like in other software, For the text, there's no simple built in

@xcxz-a Are you wanting to use a set function? @jetdv That's ideal. And in this specific example, you're passing the "x" value (which, in your example, appears to basically be "time" of the first time is 0 and the last time is 1 so the fraction

instead of plugging in a GPU decoder for VP15 they used that time to do the engine overhaul necessary to make GPU decoding efficient and not cause crashes, Imagine how different things would be today? It's an interesting what-if. Looking at Google

RE: Small icons import and fill the screen. How do I stop this?
Resolution of project 3840 x 2160, png is 111 x 66. As you can see, in Pan/Crop even resizing the icon in width and height, there is no change. Why would >> "stretch to fill frame" turned to "off" >> not correct the issue? What's it

The last thing I want to see as a user in VP20 announce, are social features and tons of other features that make these soft even slower. Until the whole engine is updated or completely changed in Vegas Pro, it's not going to be mainstream and

@Former user @jetdv @j-v @Dexcon @DMT3 So I went to Vegas and did as you requested. I can not make my dotted box 3840 x 2160. Wont do it. It will 2936 x 1096 as a max default and my logo is still a bit larger then the original. I am hoping that some

Small icons import and fill the screen. How do I stop this?
Hey everyone. So I made up a small logo that I wanted to scroll by on the bottom of the screen. When I imported the picture (.png) and dropped it on the timeline, it fills the screen (I think this is called upscaling) but I didn't want this to
