RE: Audio drag delay
Okay, but did it start (the issue) in build 403? Or was it already there in 370 (the previous build). When you drag, is the 'event' following your cursor (at a distance, like slow motion) or not moving at all?In my case (and others) knobs and

Issue with 2D Shadow and Glow on Track Motion
Whenever I want to add a shadow or glow on a text or PNG it seems normal, but as soon as I move it, the colors of those effects seem to cover the screen. How could I fix this? Google Drive for VEG file and video demo of issue.

RE: Moving video behind of a mask
If you buy VEGAS 21 suite, or VEGAS 21 post, or any of the suite or post VEGAS 365 versions (basically any VEGAS version that doesn't have "Edit" in the name), they all come with mocha, which makes this sort of thing far easier to do. Watch the

@Former user I appreciate your help man, i trully do, but i kinda don't want to use multiples software to do this, even tho one are specialized on it, if i can do all in one i will go for it.@fr0sty you are a legend bro! i just realized where i was

Here's the text first we're going to track the motion with mocha. note that i only applied the transform tracking, the first tracking option, I turned all the others off. Mocha has lost track of his hat, so we'll correct that real fast. Didn't mean

RE: Moving video behind of a mask
Mocha looks intimidating but I found it useful for tracking a subject and creating a mask even without really understanding it. For just this circle are you sure VEGAS motion tracking can't do it? This and a circular bezier mask? (Haven't tried it

RE: [Closed] Smooth Start/Stop in Pan/Crop
@3POINT I searched for some ways to do curved path motion using Vegas and came across this. I think this idea is still very useful for the improvement direction of Vegas today. Fourteen years later, Vegas still lacks curvilinear path motion.I did

Track Motion Region doesn't always draw: when adding track motion efx to clip, sometimes the region box doesn't draw on the target clip. If I fiddle with the efx in the efx chain, and or slip the clip it sometimes draws. Link to issue with track

Robert Johnston, how long did your render take? Thank you all again!! @Sneddy I think I remember seeing 20-some minutes. I guess I could do it again. It took 18 minutes and 55 seconds. (Intel Core i7 10700k @ 3.8 GHz, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8

Not sure how I can post a video sample. But here's my description. Let's say that i'm filming the Blue Angels against the clear blue skies, right? I'm assuming you've seen the Blue Angels at an Air Show before or are familiar with them. When I use

RE: Track Motion - Crete/Copy Keyframes
Track Motion was a two part series: It looks like you were referencing part one above. Adding keyframes for Track Motion would be the same as adding keyframes for Pan/Crop except they're added to the track instead of the event. The video linked by

@Dexcon In DRx as @Grazie calls it, there is a mask option (just rectangular) that enables the user to ignore pixels either inside or outside the mask. According the Thalin's website, the option to Let area follow motion is considered experimental

Depending on how different the image sizes of the video events are and assuming that are not all that different, an approach could be to put all the different image sized video events onto their own individual tracks and use Video Motion in the

RE: VP21 b300 - VP22. Still unresolved bugs with 4K MXF and HEVC files
VEGAS has a Vsync option as well in preferences. vsync only works for full screen,. Not for the preview window. To come up with a 30 fps testfile is a nice idea. But with 25 or 30 fps and no motion blur from a camera the preview will never be

I think the 13900 also has an Intel® UHD Graphics 770. Enable processor graphics in our bios and try that first with your media. Then check preferences/ file IO and make sure it's enabled. You can test both legacy HEVC and the newer decoder- use

RE: What frame-size is handed to NEAT Video-- project or actual media res?
Applying Neat Video at the Media level I really don't think is a grand idea... In many tests over the years, I have come to the conclusion that kernel-level filters, including Neat, are almost always better applied to the source media than at a

Try these settings and report. Those settings are almost an exact match of what I use for "highest quality" x264 output not only in Shutter Encoder, but also Voukoder, HOS, and Handbrake. @john_dennis and I have reached consensus on a number of

RE: Insert Track Motion Points at Exact Time Separation
@Phil_P, you don't need two scripts to do this unless you don't know the distance to the third keyframe without moving the mouse. Plus, if you add all four at once, you only need to modify keyframes 2 and 3 as 4 will already be the same as 1. As for

RE: How to put 4K clip on 1080P but keep the larger (double) size?
Use pan crop or the crop Fx on the event to zoom it in? Don't use track motion as it works at the resolution of the project. Ok, Pan/Crop appears to do it, but not as easily as the linked video or Resolve do it. Appears I must change Position Width
