Problem with image tracking
Hi, I'm using Movie Studio 14 and when I render a video with a motion-tracked PNG file it's always off-centered to the left and isn't in the same size as I modified it to be (it's bigger in the render). I used the tracker thingy on the hamburger

Small icons import and fill the screen. How do I stop this?
Hey everyone. So I made up a small logo that I wanted to scroll by on the bottom of the screen. When I imported the picture (.png) and dropped it on the timeline, it fills the screen (I think this is called upscaling) but I didn't want this to

RE: Does the Mocha Hitfilm Add-on from FXHome work inside Vegas Pro 19?
Thanks for the response, Ian. Kind of what I was guessing might be the situation these days, but wasn't sure how many responses it would take to get a complete answer. It would seem one and done! Thanks! Just trying to figure out the least expensive

RE: How to darken the bottom of the frame for titles?
Re the first question, one way in Vegas Pro to do this is to add a black Media Gen to an upper track, reduce its opacity to taste, then in pan/crop add a mask to the bottom area of the image and use feathering to taste. Then fine-tune the feathering

RE: Pan/Crop Vegas Pro 18
@milan-z, Event Pan/Crop is the wrong tool for what you're trying to do. Use Track Motion or the Picture In Picture plug-in instead.

RE: Can anyone let me know how do you process a 1080 x 1920 in full screen
@Ialwaysneedhelp Not quite sure what you mean, 'full screen'? if the project is 1080 x 1920 but the media events are 1920 x 1080 there's going to be blank spaces above/below unless you crop/enlarge the added media, see here i enlarged the media

@Ialwaysneedhelp Hi, you need to use Track Motion prob, there's a couple of ways of doing it, try some of the things mentioned in this link where someone wanted to place a pic on a portrait clip

RE: Pan & Crop Masks
@Grazie - Thank you@Musicvid - That's kind, but these are just experiments in exploring parts of Vegas (13, 15, 19) I haven't used that much. Here I've used one negative mask on the top track using a red solid and animated it from a pentagon to a

Thanks, Jack, but yes, basic. I should have specified that I'm trying to motion-track a scarf landing on a piano bench because I foolishly shot a red and green scarf on a green screen background and I want to fill in the green holes with green color

RE: 100% Zoom (and Beyond) in Vegas
I completely agree that not having the ability to zoom in within the Video Preview window is a serious limitation, especially when using Picture in Picture, planar motion tracking, Bézier masking, and mesh effects. As tracked objects get smaller and

RE: How to Move a Track by Scripting
Finally I decided to create a new Track, and move all track events in original track to new track, then delete original track. That will cause to lose track motion and effects data. I gave them up.

RE: $10,000 PIP Challenge
This thread is not about pro and consumer NLE, but about the inability of Vegas to produce a border around an event that has a changed aspect ratio after cropping. Right now, there is a way, though it is admittedly not so pretty. Apply the Crop

RE: Gradient fade to transparent just the bottom of a mask
I'm not in a position to mess around with it right now, but I highly suspect you can do what you want with parent/child tracks. Your child track would take care of your chromakey and your parent track would do your fade ramping using a linear

RE: Vegas 18.0 Preview Video has Border Limits?
It looks very much as though the aspect ratio of the image is less than aspect ratio of your project (e.g. the still's aspect ratio is 1:1 whereas the project's aspect ratio is 1:1.78) - this is what happens when using pan/crop when an image is

You could manually duplicate tracks and use a motion blur or gaussian blur on the background one- search for online tutorials for this. Newer versions of Vegas also have "Black Bar Fill" Fx that makes this very easy. Overview . Gr8, that did a
