Hi from a Vegas greenhorn.I have a question about screen recordings. When I choose File > Screen Recording from the menu bar, I get a small black window (see image). It is listed as Vegas Capture in the task manager and can only be closed there.

I usually capture video of my screen at 60fps and then render my project at 30, but it happens when rendering at 60, and even with still screenshots instead of video. I also always disable frame interpolation to avoid intermediate blurry frames.

Thanks, this looks like a decoding issue with the footage. Can you share MediaInfo for exactly what it is? Is it a screen capture or download? It's possible we could help you with better settings to edit with this version of VEGAS. As a workaround

[Solved] V20.214 Gradient Blend Composite on Alpha Layers not working

I spent a LONG time on an edit. Now I'm not sure why, the render engine won't resolve composites. Specifically it won't blend two source alpha layers in a dissolve gradient or transition. Is anybody else having this issue? What can I do to fix it? I
