Both Motion Tracking and Stabilization Effects are missing

Karl-Demer wrote on 8/23/2022, 6:14 PM

In both Vegas 19 and now 20, my Vegas Pro is missing the Motion Tracking and VEGAS Video Stabilization effects. For Example, if I right click on a video event and go to Motion Track, if I try to add a mask, I get the message at the bottom of the window that says "Effect not found: Vegas Motion Tracker." Also, when I try to add an effect on a clip and go to the FX window under the Vegas folder, Vegas Video Stabilizer is not listed as an option. I sent a request to Vegas support about this in 19 but all I was told was to re-install the program and they closed the ticket. Today Vegas 20 was a new install and I have the exact same problem.

I also find that with Vegas PRO 20 Vegas Video Stabilization is missing and a full reset did not fix the problem.

@terry54321
You didn't forget to check that the cache should be deleted?

I checked the delete cache box when I reset VP20 but still do not see video stabilization just 360 stabilization.

For these effects to work you need to install Deep Learning Models that matches your version of VEGAS

For example: In VEGAS Pro 20 Build 214 install Deep Learning Models 20.2: https://rdir.magix.net/?page=L5I8D7PH8VIF

@joelsonforte.br, that is not true for Stabilization and Motion Tracking. Those two effects are not AI/ML powered.

For others experiencing this, the original poster was able to get those effects to show up in VEGAS by:

1. uninstalling Intel's OpenCL SDK.

2. uninstalling Vegas 20

3. re-installing the video driver.
