Building a new video editing computer

I was going to hold off on this till availability went up for high-end video boards and cpus... but was able to order a nice CPU so I decided to pull the trigger. I think I've been egged on by a few users here (you know who you are 😀). Documenting the build with facebook photos and text description as I get it together:

Have authored many an HD BluRay with DVD Arch. But not any Ultra 4K HD... that's been on my wish list. Along with Dolby Atmos. Unfortunately, Magix seems to have ceased development. Be nice if they'd spin it off or make it open source if they've lost interest.

I know what you mean. I just looked today what is happening with DVD Architect, and seems now for a very long time stopped. I doubt they will switch to 4K and UHD BR. I was never pleased with DVD Architect myself, so i tried Pegasys Inc TMPGEnc Authoring Works. But its also again 100 USD, still i consider it professional software. But they also have so far not switched to 4K Projects and its uncertain if a new version will come with UHD BR capabilities. And they dont have DTS support and some other cinema standard stuff. But it looks like the selection for not Hollywood Studio sized workplaces there are not many choices to create full blown DVD/BR
