Can't install Vegas Pro Edit 14? (It says it's installed already?)

"VEGAS Pro 14.0 is already installed. If you want to reinstall the application, please uninstall the existing version before reinstalling."

I'm trying to install Vegas Pro Edit 14, but it won't install because it says it's already installed. But I know it's not installed. It says to uninstall the old one first, but I can't, because it doesn't exist, because it's not installed. Sensible installers allow you to replace the previous installation, or uninstall it for you. But I can't. How do I fix this? It wasn't working before, so I tried reinstalling it, but when I deleted the previous installation, it wouldn't let me install it again.

It does appear in "add or remove programs" but when I click uninstall, it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

In case it matters, I'm using Windows 10.

Try this: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/opening-avi-files--106440/?page=2#ca659227

Didn't work. I've deleted every file I could find with "Vegas Pro" in the name, but the error still comes up. And after double checking the files mentioned, deleting the files from the registry, cleaning with Ccleaner, and restarting, it still won't install.
