Cursor/Scrollbar/Scrubber not moving when playing

fwtep wrote on 3/13/2026, 6:04 PM

My cursor or scrollbar or whatever has stopped moving when I play the video. The time readout stays frozen too. Restarting doesn't help. Is there some kind of keyboard shortcut I may have hit, or does anyone have any ideas? I suspect it's some simple "duh" kind of thing. Thanks!

Thank you. Scroll bar locking in the now withdrawn build 356 has from memory been mentioned on the forum in the past. Uninstalling b356 and installing build 302 (the current official release) should hopefully fix that problem.

@fwtep I think the thing that causes it in b356 is maximizing the track. Removing min/max from the visible button-set for audio and video tracks has let me continue using b356 which has a multicam edit fix that I need more than those buttons. Has not been a problem since I did that.

Howard-Vigorita - That actually did it! How odd. The project I'm doing will be a multi-cam edit too, of a concert, but I'm still getting it all set up, so I haven't enabled Multicamera Editing yet. Anyway, thanks, and to Dexcon too!
