Yes please forum admin! I'm having to sell DVDs with black-frame glitches in them at the moment so this is crucial for me and the sooner the better.

Thanks very much for this.

I'd like the join the testing also. Got my first red frames on my last capture and would be great to get this resolved.

I'm not working with HDV so don't have a role in testing but I wanted to clarify a term. When you say "HDV reader" does this mean a new capture tool for HDV?

I have not upgraded from V7 but if this positive trend of support and interaction with the community continues, I think I will... but I'm not available to test at this time. A syrupy sweet and adoring thank you to you sir.

(Cringes in shame) Oh sure Bill, scare them away why don't you.

Please add me to the list. Thank you.

(Vegas 8 is unusable with clips captured from the Canon HV20 using HDV Split.)

Haven't experienced the problems, so I think I don't qualify for testing.
ushere wrote on 7/3/2008, 12:58 AM
if you think it will work upsidedown, then send me too ;-)

i still have the file i sent you with the glitch that causes vegas to close, so i'm more than read to see if it reads through the 'problem' without closing....

nice to find you're listening to us,

I have not upgraded from V7 (and this issue was a main reason for that), but glad to see it is being worked.
I'd be happy to test it if I can get a free upgrade :-)

Please count me in. I have problems with after rendering the .m2ts files, vegas can't read them back in, but they can be exported to the video camera

Folks, in the initial post, DH asked "...please fill out your system specs, update your contact info with an email address where we could reach you directly...".

I clicked on 10 user names at random and 8 of them didn't have the requested info.
I don't think Sony can help you if you don't give them what they're asking for.
