Years ago I had problems with Heroglyph 4 as a plugin.
I went the "easier" way to get around that, I create my projects in the standalone version, export the project as an animation, and then integrate it into Vegas Pro Timeline.

Maybe not what you wanted to hear, but is a workaround I've been working with well since then.

If you're having trouble displaying on the timeline when using alpha:
Select "pre-multiplied" in the properties and select "Optimal / Full" in the preview window, otherwise it is often not displayed.

PS:
The advantage of using the standalone version is, that the projects created by Heroglyph can then also be used or modified for other projects.
That's why I no longer installed the plug-in version on my new PC.

walter-i, yeah that's a problem many are having. It also a similar problem with the new Vitascene 4.

lan-mLMC, No Double clicking does not function the same way when applying transitions.
