Is there a shortcut or command to copy current timecode as text?

Is there a command or shortcut to copy the current timecode as text? This would be useful when I'm preparing editorial notes outside of Vegas.

Currently, I'm using Vegas' Project Notes to mark a frame and then copying the timecode from the Project Note's timecode field to paste it into my email or Google Doc. I can't help feeling there must be a simpler way to do this.

Ideally, I'd like to right-click the location on the timeline and select a command to copy the value, or use a shortcut. Or maybe right-click over the time display in the upper left of the timeline to copy it.

Ah! I think I found it! When I double-click on the Cursor Position number in the lower right, I can copy the value from there.

@Little_Green_Dog that is exactly how you would do it. If you need to move the cursor position to a specific location, you can type or paste that location and the cursor will jump there as well.

To make it even faster, type CTRL-G, CTRL-C

CTRL-G select the contents of that first box.

I cut and paste between Sound Forge and Vegas time-stamps all the time. For instance, if I pull up a render in Sound Forge and use it's search functions to locate audio levels that are too high, functions Vegas lacks, I can copy the timecode and paste it back into Vegas to jump to that spot and fix it. Even works with region-renders if pasted into the Vegas region-length field.

Another trick you can use to copy more than one at a time is to place markers where you want to mark a time code. Then VIEW DETAILS>MARKERS and you can couple multiple timecodes.

That should have said "copy", not "couple".
