I hope this is the right place to post, I've searched around and can't find anything related to my problem, so I hope someone out there can help me! :)

I'm trying to make a gaming video with live commentary from a webcam, but when I import the webcam mp4 file into vegas pro, the audio is completely distorted with loud, dank meme sounding bass and my voice is high pitched. Seriously hurts my ears. Even after rendering, it stays the same. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? My webcam is Logitech c920. When I watch the webcam footage locally on my PC it is completely fine, including the audio. As soon as it gets into my project in Vegas though, it's ruined. Thank you so much!
