Multi camera editing with AMD GPU / vegas 15 (& 14, & 13 ...)

is anyone else with amd gpu having the same issue when using external monitor for preview?

weird flickering when changing the view while using ctrl/alt or alr and trimming on timeline... the screen goes to black first, before it switches to the view... it happened before with r290, and is happening with r390 as well... in vegas13, 14, 15...

there's no issue with nvidia cards, tried 560, 1060... no problem in any version of vegas...

in case it doesnt make much sense, the video might show it clearer... (first 30sec - v14+nvidia, another 30sec - v15 - nvidia = both no issue, the rest of the video is v14 + amd)

it's even weirder because it happens ONLY when the playback is paused... then you adjust with crtl+alt while the video is being played, the issue disappears...

*i submitted a ticket but still no reply from magix.

There was another report re. the HD 7950 GPU here, and I've also confirmed this with my HD 6970 card in VP13 and 15. It happens with the slip tool as well as the slide tool, and it happens whether or not GPU acceleration of video processing is enabled in my preferences. I have added it to the known issues post with a link back to here.

I have seen this type of flickering in my general work occasionally. I don't remember in exactly what circumstances and I have just lived with it because it didn't interrupt me significantly. I don't use multicam. I didn't realise Nvidia might be better in this regard.
