New Poll-----Who Actually Bought the Upgrade

Okay, now that we have had close to a week to play with Vegas 7.0 and DVDA 4.0, how many of you have bought it? I am torn. I see this as a rather poor upgrade (considering it had an 18 month cycle) but the price is right, and the Cinescore deal makes it more attractive. I am still debating it.

Ok ... Lets see

Induvisualy:

Cinescore is 174 USD
2 x Theme Packs each worth 100 = 200 USD
Vegas 6 to Vegas 7 Upgrade = 135

Total: 174 + 200 + 135 = 509 USD

Sony's offer:

If you Upgrade to Vegas 7 and Enclued Cinescore you pay 300 USD

you save = 209 USD

IMO: Vegas 7 isnt a major upgrade for everyone, some would find it worth the 135$$ without conescore, others upgraded for the good price offered for Cinescore + 2 Themes, specialy those who wanted the product.

Sony made the offer trying to make it a good deal for everyone, Maybe they know there isn't much in Vegas 7 for everyone, so they chimed in Cinescore to make it a good value.

i think if the new version had 50% of the Users need, such as a powerfull Text Editor and some other wanted features, the upgrade wont enclude Cinescore.

i Bought V7 and Cinescore, i think the later made up my mind for this upgrade.

When I upgraded, I actually got a *boxed* version. I hear a lot of people don't get the actual box. I did.

I did the download + $15 for the "shipped materials".

I got the V7 + DVDA box today.
