Unfortunately, when I try to sign up, I still get the "an account with this e-mail already exists", then  when I try to reset the password, I still get:

"An error occurred attempting to reset password.

HTTP_STATUS 500, err=0"

If I try to click the little gear up at the top and click "support", I get a page not found error:

fr0sty, (and anyone else having login issues), just contact support @ newblueinc.com and you will be taken care of. We'll get your password reset and, if necessary, get your account activated (that is often the issue - the account was never activated).

Even with the new update above Titler Pro Express crashes on opening in Vegas Pro 14. Windows 7 64 bit, GeForce GTX470, latest driver 372.90

Edward - I've followed your emailed instructions and now NB is reporting that I have a missing QT dll . I DO have it. See my email reply to you.

Anyway, not working in neither VP13 nor VP14.

Not happy . . . .

Y'know, I'm quite worn out by this process . . . .

...and that made me just give up a while ago. Nothing to do with teething pains of V14. Constant regressions. Things not being fixed. It's like a black hole. Light goes in and never escapes.

Norman, it's purely this NewBlue TITLER.

paul-marshall wrote on 9/24/2016, 2:15 PM

Newblue Titler Pro Express usually freezes for me when I exit back to Vegas needing Task Manager to end process.  I have managed to get a title working but I cannot figure out what i did when it fails.

I can find no specific info on this Express version. I assume it will be cut down in some way so I have no idea what I'm supposed to be able to do with it.

Is not working, Newblue Titler Pro Express provided with Vegas pro is a real fake.

I will uninstal and forget about it. Bye

Does anyone know if New Blue Titler 3 (which works with VP13) will still work with VP14?

BruceUSA wrote on 9/24/2016, 4:52 PM

Newblue Titler Pro express 160915 freeze VP14 when I open titler pro express.  AMD R9 290X with update driver.  I might just better off just use the default titler.  If I need 3D titler just use newbluefx titler in Vegas pro 11, that  work beautifully no crash what so ever.

Newblue Titler Pro express 160915 had fixed the crash on closing Titler. I have created a working title but I get this error regularly. Autosave gives a similar error, I have had to turn it off. Someone has forgotten to take 'Sony' out of some thing! Building a dynamic ram preview is one cause.

C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\Temp\scr0.cs(3) : The type or namespace name 'Sony' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\Temp\scr0.cs(8) : The type or namespace name 'Vegas' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

And another thing.  Creating a new category folder causes a dialogue box to open up BEHIND the main window.

Not working here with the advice I got from NewBlue support.

Chanimal wrote on 9/25/2016, 6:23 AM

Support re-set my password and it worked--at least it appeared to work.  I then had to run the uninstall and then I re-installed and FINALLY everything installed (including Vegas (which hadn't shown up)).  NewBlue responded VERY quick to my request.  Of course, now I remember why I didn't use my previous Titler 3--it didn't appear intuitive at all.  I tried again, but this kind learneth not but by much fasting and prayer (it is Sunday) ;-)>

Good luck getting yours installed. Has to be embarrasing for their team and for Magix to have these basic install issues messing up their debut first impressions.

I had no problem activating the original install however even with the new update 160915 Titler Pro Express crashes on opening in Vegas Pro 14.

Windows 7 64 bit, GeForce GTX470, latest driver 372.90

Since we're talking about what a mess the relationship with VP14 and NBT3 is, I'll ask:
Why isn't the current NB Titler 4 the included program with this newest version of Vegas?

PLS wrote on 9/25/2016, 9:31 AM

Regarding my crashing issues. One thing I notice, the new download is build 160915, however the Application Manager and Plugin Manager says build 160916...

would like to know that to

NormanPCN wrote on 9/25/2016, 4:07 PM

Maybe NewBlue does not want to bundle TP4 with apps.

A TP4 bundle license would cost more than TP3. Therefore Vegas Pro Suite would then be more expensive with TP4 than TP3. NewBlue could want full proce for TP4 but willing to bundle TP3 at a lower cost. Probably hoping to get people to upgrade to the full current version and/or future versions.

DeadRadioStar wrote on 9/25/2016, 5:03 PM

.... the full TP3 was one of the bundled options with the last (Sony/SCS) upgrade, i.e. from VP12 tp VP13.  I have that version of TP3 and I'm trying to figure out if the TP Express bundled with the VP14 offer would actually be a downgrade?  Or would the existing full TP3, working with VP13, still work with VP14?

paul-marshall wrote on 9/25/2016, 5:22 PM

SInce there is no help and no info anywhere on what exactly what Titler Pro Express is or what I can do with it I asked Newblue. Impressed by the speed of their reply:

"Titler Express is basically the "QuickEdit" screen from Titler Pro 3. It does not include the title designer. You simply add Titler Express to the timeline, select the desired template, and then adjust the text as needed."

Not sure what is 'Pro' about this!
