No matter what I try, including a fresh install of drivers, my AMD Radeon RX 6800M is not recognised for GPU acceleartion. This potentially is having an impact on my ability to edit FX in the preview window too.
It only recognises my integrated graphics card and nothing else. Is there a way to force it to look for my GPU please.

That is exactly what I did. Used AMD cleanup, went into safe mode, removed, restarted and then fresh installed Adrenalin.

For the GPU log of what is going on, see C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro\VERSION\gpu_video_x64.log

I'm not seeing obvious problems here though don't have an AMD/AMD system to compare it to. Looking at my Intel/NVIDIA system it's similar in its messages. It looks like both GPUs are recognized by VEGAS.
Mine also says what the preview devices is set to and in addition to working on my NVIDIA GPU says more about use of the integrated GPU:

@Jenny-Smith You might try reverting to the latest driver on your laptop manufacturer support site. And do any chipset/firmware/bios updates you find there while you're at it.

Could you open VEGAS, hold down the shift key, click on the "Help" menu, and open click on "Launch Hardware Detection..."

Until the patch is released you could try to disable your integrated GPU in Windows. So you would at least have your capable GPU available in Vegas.

Thanks! I'm running Vegas Pro 21 in G15 AE laptop, all good except the latest Vegas update no longer sees my 6800M graphics, I'm glad the team is aware of this, can't wait for the new patch.

Just to let you know my Vegas 19 still sees my 6800M graphics, Vegas 21 no longer do after the latest patch, I have both running on the same laptop, drivers had nothing to do with it, let's just wait for the new 21 patch.
