NOTICE: Vegas User Forum platform migration

VEGAS_CommunityManager wrote on 3/23/2026, 12:15 PM

Greetings from Vegas Creative Software,

We are excited to share that in the coming weeks, we’ll be launching a brand-new Vegas User Forum. As part of this transition, the current forum will be retired and replaced with an updated platform designed to better support our growing community.

When the new forum goes live, you’ll need to create a new user account and password to get started. We appreciate your understanding during this transition and look forward to welcoming you to the new forum.

Best regards,

The Vegas Pro Team

I have made a post in the German section of the forum as well.

As for your question, initially we will not have the posts for the current forum incorporated into the new platform, but we will be working to provide a way to allow users to have access to the old posts.

Thanks for the heads up. Will messages be archived for reference? I just ported all my private messages to a spreadsheet to play it safe after losing them all once before.

Will current users of this Vegasforum be re-directed to the new Vegasforum, after the migration, when they try login here?

What happens with the current user-acount profiles, do they also migrate, or do we have to start from scratch?

Direct messages will not be archived or ported over as users will need to create new user accounts on the new platform..

@3POINT

The new forum platform will use this same URL. This platform will cease operation when we make the switch.

What happens with the current user-acount profiles, do they also migrate, or do we have to start from scratch?

As stated in the original post, users will need to create a new user account on the new platform.

As stated in the original post, users will need to create a new user account on the new platform.

In that case I will have to overthink if I will continue my support to this Vegasforum.
