Thanks for reply,

Settings are: -

the sourcefiles are gopro 1080p @ 60fps

project is 1080p @ 60fps

disable resample

render to sony AVC/MVC 1080p @ 60fps

Ok thanks, build 424 means I think that you use the last build of VPro 16.
You rendered with Sony AVC, did you use renderhelp from a GPU with Cuda?
Long time ago I saw there also blackframes with that option allowed.
I think nowadays it is much better to use the Magix AVC codec with its modern templates.
Do you have a dedicated GPU?
What says the MediaInfo of your GOPro footage about constant or variable framerate?

BTW with Sony AVC you did not render to an AVI file but most logic to an mp4

I will try render again using the Magix AVC code

Thanks for the quick answers.
You have a NVidia GTX 1060 GPU, when you are using a driverversion for that GPU beyond 4..,..( the newest is 430,64) you should have 3 possibilities for each template in the Magix AVC codec, f,i. this one

from which nr.1 1 is by far the slowest and nr. 3 is giving me with almost the same hardware the best without any problem.

@Bengaz
Is is possible to upload such a file that give these errors to a cloudservice so we can try it also on our installation of VPro 16?

Tried it both off and on. It is virtually only 1 or 2 random scenes that are blacked out each time i render.

HELP!!!!!

yes! i have the .veg and or the .mp4 file

I'm putting it on youtube anyway so it will eventually be public

No that make no sense to put it on youtube you must directly upload to a CLOUDservice where it not wil be converted.

I rendered your part1 with mostly my own Gopro files and pictures but used your sourcefile on its particular place in your project part1. I could not find anything wrong with the project nor with that sourcefile.
So what caused your error with the black videoframes I have no idea, maybe something wrong with your drivers of ?????

I placed a peace of the rendered video with Magix AVC template Internet HD 1080p 59.94 fps (NVIDIA NVENC) from the part where it went wrong with you on my dropbox where you can download it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0sbz5zogt5c1vhi/part1.mp4?dl=0

@Bengaz I would agree, there is a lot of conflicting opinions. I would ask what exactly is "high as possible". Thing is, members suggestions are to help with your issue. If your settings is abnormal, perhaps it is worth trying @3POINT suggestion and bring it back down to '200' the default. When you set it up to '10,000' Vegas presented a warning, because your setting could be causing problems dependent on your system and project. You could also try setting the Dynamic RAM to '0', which has been known to solve some issues that other user have had with projects.

If we don't know what is causing an issue, sometimes we resort to trying different things, that may not seems like they would make a difference, but also sometimes they do and that in itself may lead to the why. On the other hand, sometimes the reason why isn't as important as just finding the fix and moving on with our project.

I didn't download your project files, but did download your source file sample and there is nothing in it that I can detect causing a render issue. I think maybe there is something in your program settings (such as the Dynamic RAM), in your system (such as a driver), or perhaps something in your .veg file.

For a test (after you change the Dynamic RAM to '200') I would start a new project. Load all the same source media files into the timeline and without any other changes, render it out and test for black frames.
