One of these times, when it hangs at 100%, and you have given it several minutes, just cancel the render and see if the rendered file works OK. I've had a good success rate with this little hack.

"mark-y": When it happens, the freeze will not let me cancel the render. I can't even get out of VP21. I have to restart the computer.

"relaxvideo": I use Voukoder all of the time. Using "project default (4:2:0 8 bit)".

UPDATE: It is working ok now. I deleted the bad-rendered file before trying again. Thanks.

Source Footage: Mostly XAVC-S 4K MP4 with some MTS HD at times. Have used Samsung S21Ultra 5G footage.

Some upscaling of older videos. Many videos are more than 10 years old. Trying to learn more color correction and grading techniques. Any help with flicker reduction without motion blur is welcome!

When rendering MainConcept I always get that delay between seeing 100% render and the Cancel button changing to Close. Typically 15 to 30 seconds depending on project size and resolution. And the time reported in the render screen does not reflect that delay. Don't see that happening at all when rendering with gpu formats.
