I only use a hardware unit myself. But if I didn't already own an M7, I'd want to try and get this sampled plugin working with Vegas: https://www.liquidsonics.com/software/seventh-heaven/ I use Sunset Studios Chamber (pictured) for all my vocals and the Bela Bartok (Sandors) Hall for instrument tracks.

That is very subjective in terms of sound, I use the old 32 bit Sonitus Ultrafunk reverb a lot, it sounds very 'analog' and reminds me of the 'EchoPlate' reverbs I used in some NYC studios I worked at back in the 80s. I used Magix Variverb on a recent project which had a nice room sound I was looking for. A slap-back tape echo is usually a component for vocal tracks on a lot of my mixes. I like the sound of the 32bit VST-2 Kjaerhus Audio classic delay. I do not think I have ever used a factory preset on anything without some tweaking.

Here's a good index of some of the best free reverbs you could try: https://bedroomproducersblog.com/free-vst-plugins/reverb/

OrilRiver may be a good bet for a natural sounding reverb, Valhalla Super Massive for something 'spacey', and Acon Reverb SOLO for something very simple. I've only used Valhalla Super Massive.

I have used the Ambiance and epicPLATE and they sound decent, I like the looks of the UI of the PSP but have not used it.

Do a search for VST reverbs, there are a lot of free and paid options. Many with free trials.
