SUPER 8MM magnetic stereo sound playback problems

I am trying to present my project (project film with mag. stereo tracks) on a large screen and dont understand why after recording I listen through the 1/4" headphone jack on the projector and my recording sounds beautiful but when I line out of the projector into a new crown drive core2 amp into some good speakers one track sounds good but the other does not? I also tried to use the stereo head phone jack direct into the crown getting the same results! Why does the headphones sound so good and is it possible to amp that sound to large speakers or no? @steven-s8578 Hi, is your recording stereo or mono & on your timeline do the two audio tracks look correct, there's a right click on the media option for channels, basically you need to work out if it's a hardware, software or media problem,

Because the mission of most headphones is to maximize your listening pleasure. Regardless of content quality. I sometimes do rough mixes with open-backed, natural-sounding headphones. But only at night, not to disturb. But almost always have to fix it later, listening with proper monitors. Could be a phase issue if the signal is being combined somewhere prior to, or in the Crown power amp. Many amps have a mono mode switch that uses the L/R 'plus' (+) terminals. If the mono mode in enabled and the speakers are connected for 'stereo' operation (left and right plus/minus (or red/black) speaker terminals, it will sound abnormal.
