Yush, i noticed this kind of issue when you load my old Vegas Pro project file into newer Vegas Pro software, my video start totally different point that what im edit or set my all marker point where video should started.

My video "project properties" -setups looks the same that in my old Vegas software but, still when i go my video timeline, my all added "playback markers" or "region marks" where video was, was or have different video start point or video start different point that orginal postion was.

My video is like moved self into different position when i edited full video or part of video what was added separely in timeline.

How i can adjustment my full video start again same position in new VP that my old project in older VP software with out start or edit all over again?

What was the old version of Vegas?

What is the new version of Vegas?

What format is your footage?

It might be decoded by a different plugin, which can sometimes decode files differently. Example.

My old version was Sony Vegas Pro 9 & i load my project into Sony Vegas Pro 15, file format was *.veg ofcourse & included *.mpg video, what was edited there in middle area & was market some loop or areas but, when i load this project in new Vegas my video start point is in different postion where my all market line is then in orginal project file. I don't use any plugin there that can make project not compatible

Are the 'Time display', 'Snap to' and 'Quantize' settings the same on both?

I have opened many VP-9 projects in VP-16 and have not experienced any abnormalities. I freqently start a project in VP-9 on a Win XP PC, and later on, move it to a Win 10 PC. w/ VP-16 .

By "plugin" I meant the decoder. See part 2 of this post.

Besides telling us the decoder, it would be easier to assist you if you post screen shots of the old and new projects, showing the difference.

Even easier if you shared a whole VP9 project along with the media, demonstrating the changes between VP9 and VP15 (e.g. on Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, mega.nz, wetransfer.com or mediafire.com). I could test it here, but I only have VP10-17, not VP9.

I have in option all snap options the same in both & also option/preference setups looks very same. Both start in same frame in vegas but, in actually video when i look the position in seconds in VP9 video start for example my first cutted area about 24 second & that same part in VP15 start in 12 second & there my all marker what im set into VP9 was wrong in VP15.

So, in video thease same position should start about in 24 second but, some reason VP15 make video start more earlier & in video self this position where VP15 start about into 12 second but, that was wrong. All marker was still same position but, video self was moved or change location.

-I never change any settings that effective decoder. Not touch anyting about video or display setuping about decoder. Expect new vegas use Nvidia GPU Accleration & video progressing boost when show or rendering video & older VP9 not have that.

All the media what i use is the same, expect that then newer VP open this file diffrence way then in older one.
