Update from 21.0.0.187 to 21.1.0.0.

Just got a notice to update from 21.0.0.187 to 21.1.0.0. Went through the whole process, installed successfully and rebooted. Ran Vegas PRO and I'm still on 21.0.0.187 with the same message to update to 21.1.0.0. I'm on Windows 10 and an old Dell Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4440 CPU @ 3.10GHz - 8 GB. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with the latest driver.

21.1.0.0 is the designation for the new Deep Learning module that goes with vp21 build 187... did you update the Deep Learning module yet? I see it actually says that in the header you just posted.

@Art-Munson I just updated, 187 is the new version, I too thought that the update hadn't happened properly as when opening Vegas 'About' told me It was now 187 but I got another update pop-up, looking closer the second update window is for the VEGAS_Deep_Learning_Models.

Yes, I have the Deep Learning module installed but after "installing" the update. I'm still being asked to install the update.

Anyone have a solution to why I'm still getting the notification update after updating?

I would uninstall Vegas and the Deep learning module. Then, install from the email link when you purchased Vegas, or log into your Vegas account and download the installation file from there.. There you can install Vegas, Deep Learning and any other feature according to the version you bought.

It will install the latest version.

@Reyfox thank you. I tried updating a 3rd time and that update worked. All good now!

I've had trouble with DLM updates before. Learned to do the updates by right-clicking and choosing Open. I think the problem was that Windows sometimes runs the update twice on a sloppy double-click... the 1st instance doing the update and the 2nd instance uninstalling it. The regular Vegas main app update doesn't do an uninstall that way... it tells you it's already installed and to uninstall it via Windows before installing again.

I have a dumb question here. How or where is the DLM installed? I got the update notice and hit the install for the newer 21.2.0.0. Nothing happens and looking closer I do not know where or how to access the DLM programs. Pointers to right direction please?

@GaryAshorn some of the new effects in VEGAS are installed by the DLM installer. It's the AI effects.

Thanks I went back and found the effects and the AI listing. Now I get that part, now to find the learn modules.
