Upgraded version but mask presets and settings did not transfer.

I recently upgraded from Vegas Pro 20 to Vegas Pro 22, and my settings and custom mask presets, along with video editing/ rendering presets did not transfer over. How would I go about transferring my settings and presets over? The version I upgraded from was Vegas Pro 20 build 411. The version I upgraded to is Vegas Pro 22 build 194.

My Hardware:

Processor:AMD Ryzen 5900x 12 Cores and 24 threads. Base Clock 4.3 GHz.

GPU:Powercolor Red Devil Ultimate 6900xt

Ram: 128 GB Corsair 3600 CL 18 DDR4

Operating System: Windows 11

Vegas Pro 22 Build 194

Render templates from previous Vegas Pro versions should automatically appear in Vegas Pro 22's Render As template list as custom render templates are automatically saved in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roamiong\VEGAS\Render Templates which is a folder common to all Vegas Pro versions.

Could you be specific about exactly what the 'video settings' that you are referring to because there are a number of destinations where custom settings might be stored. Also, some settings are stored in the registry and that may make recovering them for use in Vegas Pro 22 rather difficult or even not possible.

The first 3 pictures are screenshots of my saved Pan/Crop Presets, as well as my Mask Presets from Vegas Pro 20 with my customized video settings. The last 3 screenshots are showing that they are not available on Vegas Pro 22, just the default settings and presets.

Unfortunately, in VEGAS Pro settings, presets etc. are saved in different locations and there's no easy way to transfer them all from within the program.

But maybe this post can help, it includes a section on pan/crop and masks presets: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/tutorials/backup-locations-for-all-vegas-pro-templates-presets-and-settings--139290/

@Curtis Most of the fx are ofx and their presets save in your docs folder under OFX Presets. If you use a different login or a different machine, you'll get a new empty documents folder which you'll need to copy and paste into. If the fx name changes with a new Vegas version, it will likely get a a newly named sub-folder... copying old presets to the newly named fx folder probably will not work. If the fx is at the event level, copying and pasting the event while both versions are open at the same time might work better. An easier way to do the same thing is to take an old project where you used the preset on an fx, open the project with the new Vegas, and just re-save the fx as a preset anew.

Thank you so much I'm doing something similar to your solution. I still have Vegas Pro 20 installed so I just have that open and I'm copying the keyframe presets for my mask and pan/crop, and I'm simply pasting them and saving them in Vegas Pro 22. A bit of a hassle but it works non the less.

Thank you all for your input and responses. I wish Vegas would make it were Pan/Crop Presets, and Mask Presets would just transfer but I'm copying and pasting them through key frames from the older version of Vegas to the new one.
