Type fonts are correct in the type setting window, but change to the wrong type font in the preview, and when rendered. I am running Vegas Pro 19 on a Dell XPS 8940 gaming PC
Can you post screenshots, then it's also known exactly which fonts you mean and which plugin you're trying to do this with. Then we'll have an easier time reproducing it.
By the way, what build of Vegas Pro 19 are you using?
Hi Walter, My Vegas build number is 636, I am not sure how to upload my screen capture. The type font I'm trying to use is NimbusSanExtLig. The font that is coming up is, Bahnschrift Light.

As for calling tech support, I don't know where you've been for the, at least, 5-6 years, but call support hasn't been available. Email support is.

This is one of the issues I have, since I upgraded to Vegas Pro 19 edit. The type font I select is correct in the selection window, but not in the preview window, or when rendered.

Which "type setting window" are you using?
I don't have that font available in Titles and Text in Vegas Pro 19-636. What type of font is it?
The type font is NimbusSanExtLig, and it works fine in Vegas Pro 15.
I can't proceed as I don't have the font on any machine.

Not all fonts work happily for me (I use them in Asian languages). You can try to enable legacy text in deprecated features which sometimes works better or also ProType Titler.

Deprecated features can be enabled under preferences.

The graphics card drivers are up to date? Check with Vegas Pro under "Help / Check for driver updates" and use it to download the suggested ones.
If that doesn't help - again, a screenshot would clarify a lot.
The drivers are all up to date, and I may have found a solution on YouTube. It involved a number of adjustments in preferences. Once I'm sure it works, I will post the link. Thank you for your help!
Please forgive my inability to send a direct link to this YouTube video. It's worth checking out if you are having an issue video clips blinking / flashing, during editing, and rendering. It has seemed to fix those issues for me. It is also supposed to help with crashing, but that was not one of my problems.
