OK, found another bug: Vegas Pro 22-122 refuses to output any audio my mobile workstation's (Dell Optiplex 3000 micro) Realtek ASIO (info here / driver here) device.

Feature request: WASAPI support.

@forart.it ... there is already a form of exclusive audio control in Windows in the Hardware & Sound section of the Control Panel:

The Advanced tab of the Properties window for the selected playback device has an 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device' option.

Hello There, i just noticed that (forgot about it) that vegas image and effects are not activated anymore since I moved to Vegas Pro 22. i know there is a "tip", but don't know which one to do ? any help please ? 'm mainly offline and can't stay hours searching on the forum how to do it, thanks !

@Marty74 Vegas Effects and Vegas Image will not work in VP22. You can still use them as standalone apps, or using VE and VI with the version of Vegas they came with.

What you are referring to the "tip" was copying a file from a previous version of Vegas to the next one. Well, that no longer works with VP22.

Ok, but it's the standalone version that i have the issue with.... how to activate them ?

I hope i must'nt install again Vegas Pro 21 ? ...

I have VP21 Post installed still, so can't answer the activation of VE/VI. There is one way to find out. Install VP21 Post again. How much time does all that take? Not much.

Of course, it's already configured as in your screenshot.

Anyway, even if just updated to 22.194 build, it still refuses to work (but works flawlessly using FlexASIO to WASAPI "bridging").

Anyway, as a really dated Vegas user (since was SonicFoundry product, to be clear), I always hoped they would add WASAPI support 'cause it's Windows native.

Je viens de recevoir une nouvelle mise à jour pour Vegas Pro 22 c'est la 194. installation sans problème.

J'ajoute que depuis quelques jours Les techniciens de MAGIX ont trouvé la solution pour que VP22 se lance en français ,ce qui n'était pas le cas depuis l'arrivée du logiciel il en est de même pour VP21.
