Can I change the VEGAS Pro 22 interface language?

Dexcon wrote on 10/10/2024, 7:48 AM

From memory, when you install a Vegas Pro version for the first time (i.e. not an update), the installation process offers a choice of languages which appear to be English, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil) and simplified Chinese - this from Steam's Vegas Pro 22's offer - there's nothing that I could find about this on MAGIX's Vegas Pro 22 product webpage - it previously used to list the languages in the specifications page.

Is the Vegas hub down, I just get the moving dots like it is try to connect???

Stevie wrote on 10/12/2024, 12:09 PM

@fr0sty I tried studio. The issue is still the same. I improved things slightly by reducing ram preview to 0 and enabling legacy encoding, but it still goes wobbly at times. The GPU is running Topaz Video Enhance AI without issues. So I think there's something conflicting in there.

@fred-b, strange. I get those 3 dots too. But with Magix Movie Studio 2024 Suite, I can log into the HUB there with no issues.

Now, I can log into the HUB and see everything. All is good. Maybe a momentary glitch in the matrix....

MOTION TRACKING TOOL: After creating a region and tracking, the region can no longer be moved or altered for re-tracking. Can only delete it and add another region. In Vegas 21 the region could be altered and re-tracked over and over.

MESH WARP: In Vegas 21 while animating a mesh with sync curser activated, each change would create a new keyframe automatically. Now it seems you have to hit the add keyframe button manually. Also, the preview window does not show the warping effect as you adjust the nodes. You must add the keyframe manually to see the resulting effect.

Am I the only one this is happening to or are others also experiencing this.

Thanks

Does anyone know if the Vegas crew acknowledged these issues and will they be addressed soon?

@bitman at the time of me writing that post, the Hub was working in VP22. Now, like @Dexcon, it is only working in VP21.

I get the constant "3dots" doing their thing, but never loading up the Hub. I exited the Hub, exited VP22, restarted VP22 and logged back into the Hub with zero success....bummer...

@Reyfox The Vegas Hub in VP22 is now working again for me, it took almost 4 days before it was operational again. A bit of feedback from the Magix or Vegas side of what went wrong would be appreciated.

I really do not have anything I can report. I know our IT guy reported some issues with changes Microsoft made to the Azure infrastructure that we were not forewarned about, but that is all I know.

Reyfox wrote on 10/14/2024, 4:09 PM

@VEGASDerek sadly, the Hub isn't working in VP22. It is working fine in VP21 though. Logging out and trying to log back in, and just those pesky 3 dots doing their dance.

When I perform beat detection for music that I use in my project, it is not saved. Each time I open the project again, I have to redo the beat detection so that it is displayed again, is this a bug in build 122? Thx
