Ah finally! congrats for finding the problem!

I see you are using GeForce MX130... so I try search here

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/?ncid=afm-chs-44270&ranMID=44270&ranEAID=a1LgFw09t88&ranSiteID=a1LgFw09t88-Nla.hDPhrSjSnIr6gn6Q1A

*hope the links work...

based on this search, no 'Studio Driver' version, but only 'Game Driver', and the latest is Driver Version: 452.06 - Release Date: Mon Aug 17, 2020

So, I guess 452.06 is the cause of trouble and after you are going back to 451.67 - (Release Date: Thu Jul 09, 2020) and it works again?

After literally days of work, I have found the problem. My goddamn graphics card driver.

@JoshiStitic - I like your analytical approach, unravelling what you’d done.

The render dialogue showed up and I am now rendering perfectly. Apparently Vegas pro doesn't like updated graphics card drivers.

@JoshiStitic - Not true! VP doesn’t like your choice of Driver. There’s been much discussion about Game v Studio. Glad you unearthed the correct solution.

Thank you so much @Grazie for spending hours with me, you are an angel. Bless you.

@JoshiStitic - You’re welcome. I’ve learnt much from the process today. I’m going to use our Thread to point people at.

@set - Nice catch! Who’d have thought? So, NO Studio Driver for that Card. Use another PC for Gaming - 😂

Wondering if a driver cleaning would have let you use the latest driver  http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
