Video in preview is not the same as what's showing in multicam

I'm using Vegas Pro 13. Yeah, I know I should upgrade, but I rarely ever use it.

I'm trying to mix video of a band. I was given 5 DVDs of 5 different angles. So, I'm using VOB files. When I play this in the preview window and click on a certain track's solo icon, or mute all other video tracks, I see what I expect to see. When I switch to multicam editing, I see video that I deleted from that track. So, the preview and the multicam view are showing me completely different video of the same track. Is this normal, due to using VOB files as the source? Do I need to convert to MPG or something and start over? I'm only 130 hours into this. LOL

I don't know if anyone has experienced this before, but one interesting thing I noticed when I reproduced my issue was that if I just spliced the clip, it worked properly. If I spliced the clip and then stretched it (I wanted it to play slower than it was supposed to), I got the same issue of the video playing a section that I'd spliced out. Very odd.

I think that in order to maximize the ability to play multiple tracks simultaneously in multiple preview windows for cuts that they throw away things like fx and apparently stretching. Probably video envelopes too. It seems to keep splits, clip deletes, and trims however. Suggest you make all your multicam cuts before doing any other edits.
