VP21-187 Decoding Bug

Hi,

I am testing a hevc 422-10bits 60fps file (shared here by a forum member a while back).

Preview using 8 bits pixel format works fine, but the preview using 32 bits pixel format (both video and full level) gives weird result.

Computer spec:12900HX w/ 3080ti

Using Intel in File i/o (driver 31.0.101.4952) with experimental HEVC decoding untick (I've also tried with experimental HEVC decoding ticked, same result)

That's an issue with Intel UHD graphics on newer CPUs (that can decode 10 bit 4:2:2) and 32-bit mode.It isn't new to VP 21 though.

Hopefully it will be addressed before long as I and others see it too.

32-bit mode color-banding with hevc 422 media is only a problem on my machines when Nvidia is selected in Video Preferences. In which case Vegas and Windows allow the Nvidia driver to interfere with Vegas 32-bit decoding even when Nvidia is not selected in I/O. My Amd graphics drivers are better behaved. Only workarounds I've found so far is not selecting Nvidia in Video Prefs. Or not selecting Nvidia, by selecting Intel instead, in Windows/System/Display/Graphics after adding the vp21 app there. I see a drop in performance changing the Vegas Video gpu preference so I do it in Windows instead.
