I've tried 2 different videos so far to see how it goes. I wanted voice over, fly over Warsaw with music and footage.

I was told that the footage would not be totally represented of Warsaw, but are to be templates and you replace it with your own footage.

I've found the voice overs to be pretty good, but would like to change the voice. Also, the pronouncing of Polish words isn't correct... yet. But overall, since this is an early access, I expect things to improve going forward.

I can see this giving me inspiration when my mind is a blank, which my wife says is all the time.

Bravo Vegas! Looking forward to seeing it improve.

Oh, I did the final editing myself, rearranging things to my liking.

It’s absolutely amazing. The concept is brilliant, and even though there are areas that need refining, the potential is undeniable. It's like having a truly helpful digital partner right at your fingertips, always ready to assist. The seamless integration and responsiveness make it feel futuristic, and with a few tweaks here and there, it could become a perfect, essential tool. The team’s vision for this is spot on – can't wait to see how it evolves! Also hands up for "Auto Ducking" and "Auto Normalize " still experimenting them.

Editing Subtitles:

I have used the AI generated Speech to text as well as Text to speech features. Really like it. However, I want to format Font, Font Color, Font Size, Shadow in all the subtitles generated. Is there a way to achieve this by editing the first subtitle and then having the changes applied to all. Or what is the fastest method to edit all subtitles in one timeline.

set wrote on 11/3/2024, 10:45 PM

@RZ : the subtitle texts are generated with Titles & Text Media Generator, and depends on its' template:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/is-speech-to-text-for-subtitles-usable--147607/

You can try test one line, probably the longest, modify its' looks, then as long as all titles are in the same track, use the copy paste feature inside the Titles & Text generator, to apply to all titles.

Now, imagine when this tool is able to go through your own video archives vs. just online stock footage... Powerful indeed.

@Dexcon Actually no. Ordinary forum members cannot message Magix staff direct. Staff have to contact them first. The exception is Moderators who can, and possibly also some specially selected members like yourself.

I actually kinda like this way of rolling out beta features by having people sign up to test them... it keeps people from thinking they are ready for production use. In the past, like when Smart Mask was still in beta, many users got upset because it didn't work the way they'd hoped or lacked the features needed to animate the masks when the beta was first released. By having users sign up to test the feature, it kinda drives it home that they are testing it, and that it isn't mean to be ready for prime time just yet.

That said, this particular feature already works great based on the feedback I've seen (I haven't yet had the time to try it myself, but I will soon). This tool, as it gets further developed in the future, holds the potential to revolutionize the way we create video. There's a lot of other potential as well, beyond just storyboarding... for instance, let's assume a band member passes away, and the band wants me to produce a montage of all the video I've shot of them over the years. I have decades worth of footage of this band playing, spanning many terabytes. Rather than dig through it all for shots of him, wouldn't it be great just to say "Hey VEGAS, look through these folders and find me every shot of a guitar player.", and bam, there they are. Or, "Hey VEGAS, find all the shots of the bride." when editing a wedding highlight reel... the possibilities are endless.

One thing that I've noted, that while AIA works great in providing footage, voice overs, and music, aren't they met to be a template of sorts? What is missing is a demonstration of timeline clip replacement when using AIA.
