I get an error (see title, something like unable to update from the installed version) when asked to update. I guess I need to uninstall the beta 243 manually first I suppose... Then install a compatible version, or maybe install a downloaded build version from the Magix site? A bit annoying that the update script does not take care of all this.
And what about the AI model files?
Downloading and installing vp22 build 239 does not work having build 243 installed as it will refuse to install an older build over a newer. The only way the upgrade from build 243 to build 248 is working, is to manually uninstall VP22 build 243 via the windows installed app's tool. Then install VP22 build 239. Then after the install of build 239 you get prompted to install the upgrade to VP22 build 248. This works.
I get this prompt but clicking on it doesn't do anything.
I restarted VEGAS 22 (had 2 instances over) and now get the same message saying it can't be installed over 243. Oops.
I just updated from 243 without a problem. But I didn't do it from the update notification. I exited Vegas and downloaded from the link in the announcement. It installed without issue.
Opened VP 239, got the pop-up - Install, it did it's thing without issues inc the second update of Deep learning models, I never installed 243 tho. ... Just sharing 👍
