So, looks like Perpetual Licences for VPro 22 are only available until September 2, so I'd hazard that VPro 23 is likely to be released at around about that same date
I added to my comment above, we were typing at the same time.
That's just not reasonable. By the time it makes its way out of version 0.7 or whatever to build 1.0 it's a new release. That's a common practice in software development
Going by that logic every version of Vegas & every other editor that put out a new release could state 'New engine'.. A new release but not a new engine, just an upgraded/updated version of the previous.
No mention of a new text and title system has me apprehensive. Great to see that keyframes are getting an improvement, but I was really hoping to get an update to the (very) outdated text and titles system that has been one of my biggest sources of friction since I came back to Vegas Pro with v19.
Also sad to not see any mention of a replacement for Vegas Effects. Ran into a new project that needs heavy motion graphics so hopefully the new keyframe system they are talking up will be better able to handle it otherwise I'm stuck on using my old version of VP21 for the foreseeable future

i can't remember WHERE but i see they are working on new text system. Not for 23 early but this is coming
That sounds really good! I'm looking forward to the their new creation and I'll buy the new version. Guys, I have a few projects that I want to do in Vegas, because I learned the most in it. Today I tried Adobe Premiere, it's not a bad tool, but Vegas 21, which I own, is more clear for me. The interesting thing is that people sometimes complain about Vegas Pro crashing, but I've never had that problem on my PC. I have a Ryzen 5700x with a 6700XT graphics card. (using for example 20 more track and layers)
