So, looks like Perpetual Licences for VPro 22 are only available until September 2, so I'd hazard that VPro 23 is likely to be released at around about that same date
I added to my comment above, we were typing at the same time.
That's just not reasonable. By the time it makes its way out of version 0.7 or whatever to build 1.0 it's a new release. That's a common practice in software development
Going by that logic every version of Vegas & every other editor that put out a new release could state 'New engine'.. A new release but not a new engine, just an upgraded/updated version of the previous.
No mention of a new text and title system has me apprehensive. Great to see that keyframes are getting an improvement, but I was really hoping to get an update to the (very) outdated text and titles system that has been one of my biggest sources of friction since I came back to Vegas Pro with v19.
Also sad to not see any mention of a replacement for Vegas Effects. Ran into a new project that needs heavy motion graphics so hopefully the new keyframe system they are talking up will be better able to handle it otherwise I'm stuck on using my old version of VP21 for the foreseeable future

i can't remember WHERE but i see they are working on new text system. Not for 23 early but this is coming
That sounds really good! I'm looking forward to the their new creation and I'll buy the new version. Guys, I have a few projects that I want to do in Vegas, because I learned the most in it. Today I tried Adobe Premiere, it's not a bad tool, but Vegas 21, which I own, is more clear for me. The interesting thing is that people sometimes complain about Vegas Pro crashing, but I've never had that problem on my PC. I have a Ryzen 5700x with a 6700XT graphics card. (using for example 20 more track and layers)

I can confirm that VP 23 will not list Windows 10 on the list of minimum specifications...but this is primarily due to the fact that Microsoft is dropping Win10 support. Vegas Pro 23 should be able to run on Windows 10, but just like Microsoft is suggesting, it is recommended to use Win 11.
@VEGASDerek Then surely branding this as 'Brand new' is sensationalization ?
@Gid If you did a top to bottom rebuild of your home, you might consider it a new house. And if it was objectively improved allot, that might fairly and reasonably be dubbed, "Sensational." We'll have to see.
It is marketing method to get you excited so that you will want to buy it faster. If people confused with the meaning of the word " Brand New" Why don"t you look up in the dictionary for the word " Brand New vs Rebuild" there you will get your answer. People can believe what they wants to believe. There, clearly a difference in meaning.
@VEGASDerek It is truly ridiculous for Microsoft to be dropping support for Windows 10 next month. There are so many things wrong with such decision, primarily because millions of users across the globe still uses Windows 10 and their computers simply cannot upgrade to Windows 11 because of the oddly intense system requirements needed.
@LdM_Edit I cannot give any potential release timeline for a feature like this. The titler is just entering the design phase...and we have yet to set a target release date for the next version of Vegas.
Gary Rebholz commented about Vegas Pro 23. We will still have two updates in Vegas 22, I hope it will improve the VRAMxRam memory dump and some recurring issues.🙏
@JulioAZ NAB 2025 was at the beginning of April. Interesting that he could predict so far in advance the coming of vp23 in the Fall. Wonder if he'll win the pool.
Usually when new versions of VEGAS come out there aren't updates to older versions, so I'd assume VP 22 is at the end of the road. If it works fine for you no need to upgrade though personally I will be to take advantage of thee new video engine.
