"Weird" color change after rendering

Hi!
I am using Vegas Pro 18.0 and I've been having this recurring issue for a while now.

So I would record whatever, a desktop clip or a videogame clip, and it would perfectly show the recording in my player without any issues. That is until I import it to Vegas. Just from the preview mode the red seems to be in a "lighter" tone than usual and the rest of the colors would look completely fine, I initially thought there would be no issues with it once I rendered it but I was obviously wrong. I tried messing with the video properties tab as well as looking up for a long while for a solution but I really couldn't know how to call or even phrase my issue other than just saying the colors are changed after rendering. I don't know much about this stuff so any help or context for this would be appreciated!

I own an NVIDIA RTX 2060 6GB too.

Here's both pictures of the original file (left side) and the rendered file (right side), notice the red tone variation:

I think it is good to add that I originally also thought the colors might had been messed up because it was a recording of an old game (The Binding of Isaac from 2011) but it happens if I record anything else too, the desktop even.

Can you share MediaInfo for the clip? Wonder if it has unusual color primaries.

Level and contrast issue?

@wnnduw I'm not sure if things have changed since vp18, but it probably has to do with video- vrs full-range previewing. Back in the vp18 days I used to edit in video-range with a SeMW view transform. Here's how I've been dealing with it lately, editing with projects set to the Vegas default of full-range:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/32bit-exports-are-over-contrasted-if-not-redeuced-to-studio-levels--143901/#ca900854

If you don't upload your renders to YouTube, simply try editing full-range, rendering full-range, and forgetting about transforms in external viewers.
