I did some more tests today. I activated integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 of my CPU. Here are the results:

GPU acceleration of video processing: Optimal - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAW Processor To Use - Auto (OpenCL on RTX 3070)
Hardware Decoder To Use - Auto (QSV on UHD Graphic 770)

mainconcept - integrated GPU disabled in bios    1:40
mainconcept - integrated GPU ENABLED in bios    1:58

nvenc -       integrated GPU disabled in bios   1:40
nvenc -       integrated GPU ENABLED in bios     1:33

QSV Intel -   integrated GPU ENABLED in bios    1:28 - THE WINNER

Like I said before, for some rendering is like a car race, the fastest is the winner.

The looser is the viewer, who doesn't care about your rendering speed, but probably (beside the content) is more interested in the quality/file size of your video.

@Lukke Suggest trying the MainConcept render again with legacy-hevc unchecked in i/o prefs. It's odd that the render was slower with igpu enabled in bios. Also make sure the igpu is selected for decoding and that Nvidia is selected as the gpu in video prefs. Another thing to look at is the Windows setting under System/Display/Graphics. It helps to create an entry there for Vegas and set it to Nvidia High Performance.
