RE: BM Intensity Pro 4K - 10 bit preview over HDMI?
I'd go for HDR monitors in the future, as you'll be able to see your 10 bit footage in 10 bit when grading, and if you desire to output to a HDR format from there, you have that option. As for your BlackMagic card, you might have to use the GPU

RE: BM Intensity Pro 4K - 10 bit preview over HDMI?
Yes, HDR by standard is at least 10 bit (up to 12 bit currently). Vegas supports the HDR10 and HLG varieties of HDR, both of which are 10 bit minimum. HDR is currently the only way to get 10 bit video to a client in a deliverable format as well. HDR

BM Intensity Pro 4K - 10 bit preview over HDMI?
Hi, does anyone know if Vegas can output 10 bit with the BM Intensity Pro 4K? With the non-4K version the 10 bit check box seemed not to work and with the Mini Monitor 4K "sometimes".

RE: For developers: Raw CinemaDNG support in VP15 and 16? And 8K?
Hi....the Sigma fp cameras don't exceed 4K. Besides any resolution should be possible with cDNG. It doesn't say anything in the format specification about 4K as a limit. Where did you get the idea that using cDNG prevents people from exceeding 4K?

RE: Support for Blackmagic Decklink card.
Try setting the Decklink to 60 hz in the Decklink Control Panel, aka, "Desktop Video" program. Also, make sure that Vegas external monitor is set to Blackmagic or Decklink. Some BM cards work and some don't, I have two, one is fine, the other has no

    Support for Blackmagic Decklink card.

@Matthew-Borcello Please, do not confuse "Graphics Card" with "Capture Card". They are two, totally different "animals". In my First and Second posts, the "Highlighted Blue Colored Text" are actual links. Just "click" on one and it will take you to

    RE: DV Not Detected
Thank you John. So now I understand why you said I don't need an external multi media cable. I will get a graphics card and a longer HDMI/mico HDMI cable because the one that came with the camera is too short. Why did I ask if its for video games or

Guess the Coffee, Tea, or Cookie helped? Yes, that is what you would need, if you want to do the external PC route, and not have to open up your computer and install an internal card (afraid to go inside, lack of available and/or correct

@Matthew-Borcello Here is a link to an HDMI cable, the same one I purchased and use from the camera, to the aforementioned Recorder card. If you purchased this camera new, the required cables came with it, though quite a bit short for what most

@Matthew-Borcello To go along with what @john-baker said, I have the AX-53 and AX-33 (both are the siblings to your AX-100), and you can use the HDMI out on your camera. But, I am suspecting that you are trying to go from the camera to your PC via

RE: sRGB vs REC.709: color shift, or identical?
ALO, I've always checked adjust levels from studio RGB to computer RGB as that sets the computer display to preview source video footage (16-235 black/white levels) properly on a computer monitor. A computer monitor by its nature is (0-255

Ok. Glad it works for you. But this at least proved that switching the GPU on/off runs havoc the project when using the new color grading feature... Go figure. And it should not be me struggling with this, it should be Maxic struggling with fixing

RE: vp 17 for dji X5S prores cinema encode
since cinema dng is not really supported as a video container format in vegas pro (you can add it as a sequence) and you still would want to work with that, davinci studio would be the clear better choice for that. but if you want to work with

    24bit Audio Issue Platinum 13
Hello, I'm having an issue getting Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13 to import 24bit audio. Is there a workaround to this in 13? If not, does the latest version (16?) natively support 24bit audio? I'm running Windows 10 and capturing my video/audio
